Trouble TTC

tcc 2 yrs

My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years with no luck yet. I recently had a back injury and went to a local chiropractor that did x-rays and told me my pelvis was tilted forward. I was told recently that the uterus can also be tilted forward. Would this be the case for me since my pelvis is tilted? I have an appointment with an infertility specialist in February... just trying to do some troubleshooting on my own. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

A titled uterus does not affect fertility.  When my RE did my HSG test he said my uterus was slightly titled but said that a tilted uterus has no affect on the ability to get pregnant and stay pregnant.  Are you seeing an RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist)?  Its recommended that after a year of TTC to see an RE for testing.

ETA: Sorry, just saw that you have a specialist appt in February.

    Welcome here!

My uterus is backwards, my RE always says 'That's just how you were made'. He says it has no affect on fertility.

None of my doctors were concerned about my tipped uterus. Unfortunately, you wont know much until you have your blood work and an HSG done. I would say, don't make yourself crazy googling things. You can bring your BBT charts in, but none of my doctors were particularly interested in them.  I suppose if mine ever showed an issue ovulating, or a short LP I might have pushed harder, but there never was.

I agree with the ladies above, everything I have read/heard from RE says tilted uterus will not affect fertility. Best of luck to you for your BFP:)
