@noelani42 I think I flew right around 32 wks. It was fine but in retrospect,I probably wouldn't do it again since I ended up having my water break at 37 wks. I know the travel didn't cause it but I'd be nervous to deliver in a different hospital.
7 weeks 3/4 days. September 5 or 6! Ultrasound today had me at 7 weeks 2 days on one side and 7 weeks 5 days on the other. So somewhere inbetween for now
How are you feeling? Nauseus. Tired!
Doing anything baby related today? Ultrasound this morning and saw the heartbeat!!! Only one baby
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I'm so thankful everything is going smoothly this time around.
Questions?
GTKY: What are some of your favourite ways to pass the long winter months indoors (kid and non-kid related ideas welcome!)
@PoodleDoodleOoo and @Sarafuss thanks for the responses! I was temping, and very confident I ovulated on cd18 (based on temps and opk) possibly cd20. I think I'm trying to get too technical here, and I'm driving myself nuts trying to do this math. I just can't kick the feeling that I am 7 weeks 3 days and the baby isn't growing. Here's hoping the next 10 days go by fast!
@TheTamedShrew We have a hammock for stuffies and everyday favourites just get tossed in the crib. For other toys, I like the Ikea storage shelves with pull out bins, but I think any out of sight storage will do. My big revelation was to stop caring that everything went in "the right spot". I used to have the bins all organized with musical instruments in one, puzzles in another, cars in another etc and I'd get frustrated when things wouldn't fit in the "right" bin. Now it's like "just throw it in a bin, get it out of sight" and I organize the bins every once in a while to try and keep pieces of toys together as much as possible.
Hi all! Hoping everyone in the path of this storm is keeping safe and warm!
How far along are you? EDD? I'm 6w, 4d. EDD 9/12!
How are you feeling? The nausea has made its debut. Nothing too strong that makes me run to the bathroom but just enough to have it all day long! Breast soreness and still very tired!
Doing anything baby related today? Just peeking at Pinterest things hehe
Raves/Rants/Randoms: First appointment is Tuesday 1/26! Hoping for a strong heartbeat and healthy stats.
Questions? Mild cramping occasionally. I've lightly spotted twice but very light and goes away quickly. I've also had some light soreness/crampiness on left side. Anyone experience this as well?
GTKY: What are some of your favourite ways to pass the long winter months indoors (kid and non-kid related ideas welcome!)
I like to spend my time organizing (just a tad ocd haha) or catching up on TV episodes on Hulu or Netflix!
@mali0902- If you O'd on CD 18 or later it would make a lot of sense that you're at 6 weeks (or earlier!) and it wouldn't be surprising that the heartbeat was "weak" since it would be so early for an US! FX these next few days go fast for you!!!
@reesaXden, I had a small SCH also. Mine was about 0.5/1.5 cm. The doc didn't seem worried at all and said they are pretty common. That still didn't keep me away from google though.
7 weeks today. I feel like an absolute zombie. Bought Sea Bands on my work break. Can't really decide if they're working or not. Seem to be taking away from the headache a bit. From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep I am beyond exhausted. I have never wanted a Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte more!!!
How are you feeling? Super tired. With my first pregnancy, I built a "nap pod" in the back of my SUV. I had a yoga mat, comforter and pillow. I would go out during lunch and take naps...this might need to be resurrected. Also, a little nauseated, but I'm cool with that for now.
Doing anything baby related today? Bumping...buying a couple of maternity pieces. I swear my pants are already uncomfortable.
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I'm a little crazier than normal, and my DH looks a little frightened. Might need to take it down a notch.
Questions? Nope
GTKY: What are some of your favorite ways to pass the long winter months indoors? We live in Colorado, so there are lots of great options... BUT, I guess I won't be doing much skiing. Other than that, I love terrible reality tv, and playing with DS, who is 2.5.
Nervous about spotting. This is day 3 of seeing things I don't like, and the waiting is so hard. Torn between self-imposed bed rest and cleaning for SO to come home to a fresh house. Keeping my head up and hoping for the best.
Questions?
Anybody ever have bright red spotting 3 days in a row and still come out of it with a baby?
GTKY: What are some of your favourite ways to pass the long winter months indoors (kid and non-kid related ideas welcome!)
HGTV shows, now they're on Netflix! We do wood working in the winter, pallet projects and refurbishing old furniture. This is an indoor project for me because SO does the garage work, and I do the painting —indoors
@BetterTogether1023- My friend had full on bleeding for about a week, and still had a baby. She rushed to the ER, they did an ultrasound, and couldn't really tell where the blood was coming from, but determined it wasn't coming from the baby. She was put on modified bed rest (i.e. she wasn't allowed to do much of anything, was told to move slowly, and sit or lay down as much as possible, but didn't have to stay on the couch all day). If you haven't yet, definitely call your doc and ask about it.
@LilSpiester I definitely had cramping about a week ago. It's tapered off. I think it's due to implantation and expanding uterus.
@reesaXden I too had an ultrasound today and have an EDD of September 5th/6th. One baby here as well Congrats!!
@mali0902 I typically have longer than 36 day cycles. I was temping with OPK so I know I ovulated later (around CD 25) hence why I am 7 weeks and not 8. If i had gone by LMP I would think that I am farther along then I am (confirmed by ultrasound). Good luck!
@emilz5 I have not thrown up yet but am definitely nauseus. Consider yourself lucky I think morning sickness can kick in any time in the first trimester (or even later) and the last stat I read was that 75% of women get it. So I would just be happy for now
How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. Crampy a bit. But they are short lived.
Doing anything baby related today? Not sure. I could end up researching a bit tonight
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I'm actually really excited for the blizzard. I love the first snow. I'll be complaining about it in a few months.
Questions?
GTKY: What are some of your favourite ways to pass the long winter months indoors (kid and non-kid related ideas welcome!) Netflix, Trying new wine (welp, I guess that's gone), Board games, trying new recipes, playing with the pups, shopping, running on treadmills
@emillz5 - They say about 20 percent of women don't get morning sickness. Count your lucky stars!

@LakeR2014 DH and I watched it last night! It was so great and funny
@csiigusz I had pain like this from about 7dpo until about 5 weeks. For me, it wasn't very painful, more like a strong, constant twinge, similar to O pain on my right side, but slightly more towards the middle. It got worse on 4w1d and I had spotting the next day, which freaked me out. I talked to a nurse and she said it sounded like textbook implantation pain. I had an U/S at 4w4d because the spotting turned bright red and we saw a sac and yolk sac and things are still well today. Don't freak out unless the pain gets unbearable.
@jhems776 I read your post a little late yesterday and I was telling my DH that you sound exactly like I did at the same time. When you mentioned the boob tenderness going away, I remembered I had a little freakout over the same thing lol. My BBs were a little sore after my BFP and then they were only slightly sore (only when I pressed on them) for like 3 days so I was worried and told my DH about it. Three days later the soreness came back with a vengeance, my boobs are sore like I've never felt before! I talked to my SIL about it, she's my go-to in PG-related items, and she told me that, thankfully, sore BBs are one of the symptoms that come and go. Oh, and don't buy wine I worry every weekend that I'll start bleeding and won't be able to get into the doc until Monday, but try to stay positive and to get your mind off of things.
How far along are you? EDD? 7 weeks today! 9/9
How are you feeling? Nauseous, so nauseous. Have had a headache every day that gets worse every other day or so.
Doing anything baby related today? Nope!
Raves/Rants/Randoms: I am so nervous/upset. When we found out about this baby, we decided to only tell my siblings and my dad. Not DH's family or my mom until 12-13 weeks. We decided this because of all the unhelpful comments we got from people with our loss in November and we decided to be cautious. We saw a heartbeat a week ago and told my siblings and dad. My dad apparently thought that, because we saw the heartbeat, it would be okay to tell my aunt on my mother's side, who proceeded to tell her family and my cousin told me and my SIL. Great. I got so upset that I burst into tears because this meant that my aunt probably told my mom (they talk almost every day) and my mom would probably tell my MIL. So instead of trying to contain the secret, we decided to tell everyone. I irrationally feel that we're jinxing it now; I know I only feel this way because I hate that we'll have to call so many people if something goes wrong. I just loved having this little secret and I was not ready to let everyone know. I don't want people asking me private things or giving me unwanted advice. We're going to let close friends know after 12 weeks but we won't really announce anywhere on social media. I'm just bummed that I didn't get to decide how to tell everyone.
Questions?
GTKY: I don't have a lot to do, really. I watch Netflix and such and read.
How are you feeling? Exhausted & stressed out (due to work).

@mom2adoodle and @PoodleDoodleOoo (I am loving your user names together, !!) Thank you for putting my mind at ease! Though I'm dreading that I'm really only halfway through the first trimester instead of 3/4 @AlwaysAuntNeverMom I'm so sorry you had to share the news like that. It's one of my biggest fears with telling our families so early. Who honestly thinks that they have the right to share that kind of news...YOUR exciting news (especially without even asking) I just think that's horrible. Hugs to you
How are you feeling? Back ache has hit me like a hammer and I mean that literally, I'm pretty sure I've been beaten with a hammer. Other than that I've been getting some serious stretching sensations in my lower abdomen and I'm exhausted!

@reesaXden I too have a SCH and likely the source of brown spotting. OB did not seem concerned and said we would just watch it on the next few U/S to make sure it goes away. I am also on pelvic rest. Like @TheTamedShrew suggested....googling is not a good idea.
@PoodleDoodleOoo thank you so much for that! I just needed to know that it's possible! I'll be sticking to my bedrest plan more strictly tomorrow, since the whole house is clean now... I did call in, but right now we're working with a doctor who isn't my regular. She said to just monitor it and there wasn't anything to do since the last u/s had shown progress. She wouldn't recommend another u/s until 11 weeks. I'll be switching over to my regular doctor next week (odd scheduling, I know) but I plan to get an u/s on the books for the end of next week or beginning of the week after, once we're more likely to finally see a baby baby! I wish they'd just do a blood draw to ease my brain, but I know those are expensive.
