Labial adhesion

Hello beautiful ladies smile:
My baby is 9 months old today we had her 9 month routine checkup. I got to know that she is having labial adhesion.I am really worried if anyone has any info about it please share with me.

Re: Labial adhesion

  • I don't know too much about it but after a quick Google search it sounds fairly common and treatable. Here's a link I found that seems to have good info. I would recommend asking your daughter's pediatrician any questions...

  • Thank you so much for the reply.Yes I did ask all related questions to the doctor, he said it's very common and treatable.we mother get anxious for little things.
  • No worries, I totally get it. My sister called me up a week or so ago to let me know one of my nieces little friends has whooping cough. We haven't been around her friend, but we were around my sister and niece for Christmas and New Years. My son is vaccinated, but vaccines aren't 100% so I called the doctor anyways with a million questions. Needless to say they told me not to worry unless he gets sick. He has a cold now that started yesterday, although I'm sure it has nothing to do with it... it's still on the back of my mind though!

  • My daughter was diagnosed with labial adhesions at her 6 month appointment.  Her pediatrician prescribed some cream to put on her one time a day until her 9 month appointment.  Her pediatrician also printed out some litarature to explain everything.  She told me it is fairly common and how it is treated.
  • Yes @borgie05 it's true that we mother's worry over little things. I had been to india when my baby was 3 months old, I was so worried about vaccination that I asked doctor again and again to make sure that my daughter got all vaccination.
  • Thanks @clsrfs for the info. Yes my doc also prescribed estrogen cream to apply on her one time a day for four weeks.Hope adhesions loosen up by 4 weeks.
