This morning I peeled an orange with one hand while breast feeding.
I read that as "this morning i peed on an orange with one hand while breast feeding," I am was confused and thinking why the F*ck would you do that.
Mine is I finished all the laundry and ironed all DHs clothes so he will have stuff to wear after I have the baby. I only iron once a month and keep all DHs clean work clothes in the ottoman at the end of our bed. Now it's empty and I am so happy!
Baby girl has a nasty eye infection (both eyes) which is definitely not a win. But her doctor called in a script without me needing to bring her in during 10 degree weather - Hurray! Now in order to get the goop out of her eyes (she literally could not open her eyes, no matter how often I soaked and wiped them), I have to put goopy medicine on her already goopy eyes! Poor baby is not pleased.
But, she can open her eyes now, which is a total win!
Me. I played the 1987 national aerobics championships video on YouTube for my three year old. She danced her face off for half an hour, straight, then passed out. Whoop whoop! Emergency nap time protocol established!
Dusted and washed down my entire room. Floors baseboards everything. Windex'd the windows. Moved the furniture around to make room for baby until mine and SO's little apartment is ready. got his pack n play up for him to sleep in until we move. Can't wait!
I'm winning! I got over my fear of driving with the newborn! It was snowing/sleeting so I probably shouldn't have decided to face my fear now, but I did! I even went out and bought a mirror for the backseat so I can watch him. It took me over an hour to leave the house but hey, I left

My midwife suggested I use breastmilk to clean goop out of baby's eyes, maybe you could do that between 'goop' applications?
@kvacmak I was doing that, but it just wasn't getting any better. It was so bad that her eyes were all but plastered shut. I had to get a warm, wet cloth and wipe them (seemed like I was scrubbing her poor eyes off) about every 10 minutes. It was bad. We're on day 2 of the antibiotic and she has had her eyes open most of the day!
My baby girl who was born Tuesday afternoon nursed for 25 minutes! She loves to eat like her momma and sleeps soundly like daddy. I'm so proud of her already
