(LOSS MENTIONED) I am now considered as being of AMA and desperate to have our last child. I need help with natural remedies for fertility. My husband is also older so we don't have a lot of time...thanks ladies.
I'm confused by your question. Since AMA is defined by being over 35 and almost all of the posters on this board are TTC and AMA. I haven't had a child yet, so I can't tell you what works. I can tell you that a lot of posters on this board and others use acupuncture which has shown to help regulate hormones and increase chances of conception. I also use prenatal vitamins and a supplement known as coq10 which is supposed to improve egg quality. Can't personally vouch. You may want to try the pregnant after 35 or parenting after 35 to get success stories. I suggest using the search function before posting the same question, I'm sure this question has come up many times before. Good luck!
We've had a lot of folks here get pregnant recently, so check out the forum for Pregnant Over 35.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
I am 41, hubby in his 50s. First baby for both. I got pregnant naturally after 2 failed iui attempts. I kind of gave up and 2 cycles later I was pregnant. Maternit21 test came back healthy baby boy. Don't give up hope. When I stopped trying it happened. I took prenatal for a year. Baby dust to everyone!
I'm new to this forum, so haven't seen any AMA success stories here, but I know how important they can be, and if you're looking for inspiration, I can recommend a thread on the Fertile Heart forum that I'm finding really supportive. It's the personal stories of women over 40 who have conceived, with support of the Fertile Heart practice developed by Julia Indichova. Not sure if I can paste a live link here, but if not, you can google it and find the Triumph over Despair thread. https://www.fertileheart.com/forum/topic.php?id=19612
Thanks, I was hoping to learn what everyone else is trying, what other docs have said and such.... I keep researching online and getting discouraged by percentages...best of luck to everyone here! I hope you move a different board soon!
