I think we are down to two options for out LO.

#1- Matteo Thomas (our last name is Italian, and we love the idea of an Italian first name without it being too much.)

#2- Owen Samuel

LOVE Matteo! We considered it, but we didn't have the Italian last name, and I didn't think it fit. So we went with the less exciting Matthew. I like Owen though too, but Matteo is unexpected.

I think Matteo is a perfect balance of uncommon but not side-eye worthy. With your Italian heritage I think it's great. Owen, while a perfectly nice name, is just one of those common ones you hear all the time now.
