Hello everyone,
Finally introducing myself after a little over 1 month of lurking. :-) I am 38 and my husband is 46. Neither of us have children and we have never tried to have children before we were married. We are newlyweds and have been slowly working our way to A+ TTC status like so many of you are. I have been using the Ovia app for 3 months and earlier this month added checking my BBT and using an OPK. Haven't worked my way to checking CM so that's my next step I guess. Anyway just wanted to say hi and I am so excited to join you!

    Welcome @Happilili!  Be sure to track your "trying" as you've been doing.  Because of your age, you should be able to get a referral to see an RE after 6 months of trying.  Not trying to scare you, but let you know that an RE has a lot more options to provide to you to help you conceive!!  Wishing you luck!  I'm also 38 and TTC#1!!

    TTC#1 since July 2014
    AMH 0.1, DOR, Poor responder
    Moved to Prague, Czech Republic for IVF
    2 Natural IVF cycles, 3 full IVF cycles, 4 transfers, 1 BFP - heard heartbeat at 6w5d
    Diagnosed MMC at 9w1d on 11/30/15
    Headed back home to Colorado 12/12/15

    DE attempt in Czech Republic!! 

    March trip to Prague canceled due to Pancreatitis. :sob:
    Headed to Prague April 30
    3 different donors resulted in 1 PGS tested embryo and 1 fresh embryo
    2 embryo's transferred (from 2 different donors) on 5/10/16
    BFP on 5/15/16 at 5dp5dt
    Beta 1 = 81 at 8dp5dt, Beta 2 = 295 at 10dp5dt, Beta 3 = 891 at 12dt5dt. Beta 4 = 2114 at 14dp5dt, Beta 5 = 4916 at 16dp5dt, Beta 6 = 13252 at 19dp5dt
    Heartbeat at 6w5d 133BPM <3
    We are having a GIRL!!! Due Jan 26, 2017

    Dx: low progesterone, possible DOR - officially "unexplained"

    TTC#1 since November 2015
    9/16/2016 IUI#1 - BFN
    10/12/2016 IUI#2 - BFN
    1/21/2017 Clomid/IUI#3 - BFN
    March 2017 IVF: BFP! (beta#1 191, beta#2 378!) - it's a boy! DS born 12/6/2017

    TTC #2 since July 2018
    May 2019 IVF #2: BFP! (beta#1 346, beta#2 646) - vanishing twin at 8 weeks. Baby B still going strong - due 2/8/20!

    Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
    Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
    TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
    2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
    Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
    Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!  
    fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! 
    Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

    Thanks guys! And yes, @Piperella, I had the scary "you know you are getting up there" talk with my Gynecologist last summer when I was engaged. If nothing happens in a few more months we will definitely be looking into getting some help. Thanks for the advice about seeing an RE! All the best to everyone!
