TWW week of Jan 18th-24th

Hi everyone! This is a two week wait post for anyone who is or soon will be in the TWW. Tell us how many DPO you are, when/if you'll test, and any symptoms that have you wondering if this is THE month!  Also feel free to add anything special you're doing (or not doing) during the TWW to better your chances, and really anything TWW related that you'd like to comment on.   If you haven't already made a separate intro, please first do so in a separate discussion thread so we can get to know you! Still waiting and going a little nutty. I'm 13dpiui. Was going to test this morning, but I chickened out. I probably would have already tested if I didn't have a deal with DH that I would tell him when I was about to test. Had a teeny bit of spotting last night after sex so that bummed me out. I had a dream last night that I tested and the digital screen read XAG.

Keeping my fx for you, @BernieRae!!!  

My FET this past Friday went well, I'll attach a picture of my 5 day snowflakes below.  It's crazy how attached I feel to them.  I love knowing I have something in me that might be trying to grow.  The RE and embryologist said that they thawed really well and were great looking blastocysts.  Now I just wait.  I'm 3dp5dt which I guess is like 8dpo?  I have a beta test on the 26th but may test a few days early.  I have plenty of hpts in my cabinet, so I'd like to get some use out of them.. as long as they say BFP.  I wish I could control that.  I'm just trying to stay warm and eat "warmer" foods.

@Piperella I can so relate to feeling attached. So excited for you. I really hate seeing a BFN as it makes me so depressed but if your beta is on the 26 then testing a few days before that is totally within reason! You'll be 9dp5dt on Sunday, right? I would test on Saturday. Fx for you!!

I am 3dpo. We are giving in a last ditch effort while we are waiting to find our donor for donor eggs. We did femara cd3-9. I took mucinex, and am planning to take benadryl, pepsid and claritin starting today. Keeping my feet warm, eating pineapple soon and hoping for a miracle. I won't test until Jan 28 as that will make me 13dpo. Fx!

I'm only 2dpo according to FF and the distinct R sided O pain I had the evening of the 17th. Not feeling great about our chances this month as we didn't have the best timing, but it wasn't the worst timing either (-2 DPO and +1DPO). No symptoms yet and I won't test until the 31st when AF will be officially late, just enjoying the next week before I go ss crazy! Haha

I'm 7dpo/dpiui.  I had IVF-level stims, but IVF failed and converted to IUI.  Since triggering, I've had a ton of cramping.  So, cramping today, but I can't really pretend it's implantation cramping, when I know it's ovaries-swollen-like-oranges cramping.

I don't think there's much I can do at this point to help things along.  Either the cells did their thing, or they didn't.  I'll try to wait until next Tuesday (14 days) to test.

I'm either 11 DPO, or 5DPO - yeah, it's that kind of cycle, again.  I figure as soon as I arrive at the midwife's office on Friday they'll draw blood so I won't need to worry about testing.  I'm just frustrated and don't really care if I'm pregnant or not, I just want to know why my cycle is so out of whack.

Hi guys- it's my first time checking in here! I'm on CD 16-ish and hoping for a temp spike tomorrow and the next 2 days to confirm ovulation either today or yesterday. I'm on my 2nd cycle post-D&C and had a piece of tissue (possible scarring) blocking my cervix, so I'm basing my AF date on when I started having intense cramping and other AF-signs. I had pretty intense o-pain yesterday and I think we hit the right dates with our BDs this month. Last night I dreamt that I was pregnant and feeling super nauseous. Im totally already symptom spotting. Obviously, it's not possible, but I swear that my boobs grew overnight and my boobs hurt today.

I'm firmly in the drink til it's pink camp and will be vacationing at an all-inclusive next week so I will start testing at 9 DPO and test everyday until AF. I'd rather be disappointed than feel guilty because I had a margarita or sushi before I knew I was pregnant.

I should be in TWW but alas, I was sick with a cold and then DH got one and has bronchitis.  So a no go this month.  I swear every time one of us is sick it is always during O week.

I do have an update since I shared in my intro and elsewhere that DH has not been on the same page about needing to BD more often than sometimes once a month.  He was willing to go to an OBGYN appointment with me (this is the first time I went to one, I've only bee talking to my PCP about TTC thus far).  My plan was to bring him to the appointment to have a come to Jesus talk with him about how we are not BD'ing enough to even count as trying.  Well, right before the appointment we were shopping and we ran into our neighbors who had a baby via IVF last summer - we don't know them that well and it was the first time I met the wife, but they are around our age and they were very open and DH who is very private told them right away that we were going to the doc to talk about having a baby, so they kind of talked a little about their experience.  When we walked out of the store, DH said "I know we're not trying often enough, that's our problem."  FINALLY!!!!  So then at the OB the doc said the same thing...that maybe doing it once a month will work for some 15 year olds in the backseat of a car, but it's not going to happen for us.  My doc referred us to an RE anyway, saying that he'd rather we start off at the RE due to my age rather than them trying to do things first and wasting time when we could just start off at the RE.  And he referred us to the same place that our neighbors used.  I also checked with our insurance and we do have fertility benefits so that should help somewhat.  DH wanted to give a month of really trying (DH is very anti-doctor), but I called the RE and the next appointment isn't until mid-March anyway, so I scheduled with them for then.  So we will have one month of TTC before the appointment.  Sorry that was so long, but it really felt like DH gets it now and now I'm not in this alone.  Also DH liked that our neighbors could be a good support for us and a good sounding board due to their own experience.

@jennh75b I'm really glad you and your husband are on the same page, I know how stressful it is to be in that situation (my SO also thought that trying meant BDing once anytime during O week would do the trick). I thought I could just "seduce" him at the right times, but he would be too tired or would want to put it off till the next day. He would tell me "it'll happen, don't worry". I finally broke down and made him sit through me crying and telling him the ins and outs of ovulation and how stressed out I've been about it all (obviously a traumatic way to hear about it for him! Haha). The next day we went to lunch and he apologized for making me shoulder all the burden of TTC and that he is on board with more BD during O week. He came home from work that night ready to go! Haha. It's such a great feeling when you are on the same page! (Sorry I ranted too!)

Y'all, I'm at 9dpo/dpiui, and getting into the hardest part of the TWW emotionally, for me. This struggle is really starting to get the best of me-- I've gained enough weight to go up a clothes size, and I'm crying at anything (thanks progesterone supplements).

And today, it looks like a friend of mine is actually having a baby, conceived after I started TTC. And I'll be going to the hospital to support the family.

This shit is hard.
