I am on CD 12 and doing a mini ivf cycle.  We expect to get 3 eggs at retrieval later this week and if we get a 4th it will be a bonus.  Retrieval will be either Thursday or Friday..should know better after my ultrasound tomorrow.


QOTW:  The snow depends for me..i'm a teacher so I love a good snow day or two but if it's on the weekend or too much snow I am not a fan.  I remember during a blizzard as a kid putting all my snow stuff over my pj's and playing in the snow!

@rachlee2010-- GOOD LUCK with the egg retrieval!!  Wishing you many mature follicles!  

Cycle Status:  FET on 1/27!  It is our one and only shot and it is getting closer and closer... I am incredibly nervous.  I am on Estrace now and will start Progesterone shots 5 days prior to transfer.

QOTW:  I love snow!  As long as I don't have to drive in it I just love it.  I love watching it fall, playing in it, making a fireplace and drinking hot chocolate... it just makes me feel good.  The only thing I really hate is shoveling it... my fond memory was when I was little I used to go under my deck in the backyard with my best friend and hang out under the icicles and pretend to be snow princesses.  We were the original Ana and Elsa... haha!

Cycle day 8- first IUI cycle! Finished Femara yesterday, 3rd injection of Gonal-F today. One more tomorrow, US on Friday, and doc thinks I should be ready for IUI on Tuesday!! So excited and hopeful about this!!

I love snow! To visit, not to live in. I'm from Idaho and once it snowed FOUR feet in 6 hours! Then it blew and drifted that night into 8 feet. My siblings and I spent the entire day building the most awesome tunnels and snow fort ever!

My ER was this morning and it went pretty well.  We were hoping for 4-6 eggs but they only got 3 so I am a little bummed about that but all 3 were mature so that is good  We will hear on Sunday morning how many fertilized and are growing. I know it only takes one but more would have been great.  Hoping to freeze everything we can but will do a 5day transfer on wed if anything is growing but doesn't look like good enough quality to survive a freeze and thaw so starting estrogen and progesterone tonight and tomorrow respectively.  

@GK2009 your transfer is fast approaching...really hoping this is it for you!

Hey Rachlee! How did it go today? Try not to be discouraged with 3 eggs...if they are good that is what counts. We got 3 after this past ER and this Wednesday is the transfer. I am super nervous..but also happy it's finally going to happen.

I hope you got a great report today and you are feeling well! Keep us posted!

Thanks @GK2009 2 of our 3 eggs fertilized and as of yesterday both divided..one was a 2 cell and one was a 4 cell.  won't hear again until tomorrow afternoon probably.  So for now things look ok but i'm still on edge that we will lose both.  

Im so happy you just about made it to your transfer..yay..i'm really hoping this is it for you!
