Induction put on hold !!

My due date was on the 7th. The 12 had an appt in which we discussed induction b/c I was already overdue. I got scheduled an induction for the 15th at 9 p.m. but told me to call 2 hrs before going in. I called and they said that they had to postpone it to the 16 at same time b/c my doctor wanted to be present & deliver my baby. Today is the 16 & I called two hrs before going in & they told me it was fine to go in. An hour later I get a call saying they will have to put me on hold b/c there is no room & they will call me as soon as they can. Its been 3 hrs and im here waiting trying not to get my hopes up ): Has anyone been in the same situation ? & how long have they made you wait.

Sorry to hear it sounds horribly frustrating! I have never had this happen to me but I did hear if the maternity ward is full they do that.
Hopefully it will clear up soon and you can meet your LO Almost there !

We are scheduled for an induction Thursday. Our physician did mention this is a possibility but said only if they were full and we are not at risk. Perhaps since you are still only a few days over, they consider you to be fine waiting. Who knows, perhaps LO will come on their own?
I am still hoping for ours to appear on her own but have a feeling we will
Be waiting until the 41.5 scheduled.
