Tell me I'm not the only one who STILL freaks out a bit when I don't feel baby move for a while.

Not at all. I went to L&D on Monday morning because I could only get 1 kick in 1.5 hours. I was also having pains that were new. LO was doing great and I was having contractions. I believe you know your body best.

I almost went in as I didn't feel as beaten up as usual the other day, then it went mad just before I called. I think cos I don't notice kicks when I'm running around at work now term has started, it feels like there are much less than in the Xmas holidays! Natural to worry I guess!

Life is Exciting

I definitely still get nervous when I don't feel her move as much. there's definitely been a point every day lately that I've thought about calling, but then she'll move and i'll think I'm crazy for having thought it.

Same here! This thought crosses my mind at least once a day.

I've only been tempted to call once, but I got some ice cold coke and layed on my side and within a few minutes she was moving around lazily. Her lazy days I definitely spend more time being conscious of it, but the day I almost called I realized I hadn't noticed her since the previous day and it was like 3 in the afternoon.

Don't stress! Babies sleep majority of the time. Sometimes when I wake up she wakes up too and starts moving around but sometimes it takes her a minute and it freaks me out a little lol she's been having a lot of hiccups lately (37+5 weeks) just poke your belly and they normally kick right back or drink something cold.

Now if you see blood, having contractions and don't feel movement then I would go to L and D right away!

I had one of those days today actually. I didn't feel him move more than a tiny bit here and there all morning, and then lazy, slow movements all afternoon. I was pretty convinced something was wrong. I was definitely thinking I should call L&D soon. Then he started going nuts in the evening and hasn't stopped.

yes yes!! I know it can be a little irrational to be constantly paranoid about it but I can't help it. A little oj perks him right up but the fear can be so real. We are so close thou!
