Good morning ladies. I didn't see anyone post one yet so I figured I would! Let's hear those confessions.

My confession is that I took a shower last night and didn't shave my legs because it takes too long and I was hungry.

I'm really bad then... I haven't shaved my legs in weeks. I haven't gone anywhere where I would need to and I always wear pants. Lol.

I probably should soon though. DH has been a trooper.

My confession so far today is I'm working at home today. Thank goodness bc it's a gloomy day... Raining, dark, etc. That being said, I finished one thing at work so far today... The rest of the time I've been on my tablet watching Netflix. I have zero motivation with the rain... Honestly I'm surprised I'm still not sleeping. It's perfect nap weather.

I haven't shaved in a week. I only shave now when I have a doctor appointment...I am getting kinda "Squatchy"

@dsmith211 and @yogahh Well, that makes me feel better. lol I figured DH and I just dtd the other night, so it'll be at least until tomorrow when we do it again and I'll shave tomorrow. haha He may never know.

I'm working from home today too and I'm working while I watch a movie on Netflix on my tablet. lol Makes the time go by faster.

If it makes all of you feel better...I haven't shaved my legs in probably....3 months. And sorry if it's TMI, but my strategy with shaving my lady parts is doing 2 or 3 strokes every time I'm in the shower. I figure by the end of the week I'll have it MOSTLY shaven. DH was slightly terrified when he saw how this turned out the first time I tried it, said it looked like I got in a fight with a lawn mower downstairs, I told him not to be frightened.

Yeah...Since having DS, I shave well during the summer (or wax) but otherwise I'm in and out of the shower asap so I only shave what's going to show and do a full, thorough shave biweekly-ish. This week, from the knee down is shaven because I wore a few knee-length dresses. Today is DH's birthday. I suppose I should shave for real when I get home from work.

2 weeks still isn't bad. I'm pretty sure the last time we did was like in November. It is still so painful no matter what we tried. It makes me a little nervous to even try.

Glad I'm not the only one, I think I've had sex maybe 4 or 5 times this entire pregnancy. I'm starting to have major guilt about it, actually! I just feel so gross and awful in so many ways, its really hard for me to get in the mood

I feel like my confession needs to be that DH and I still have sex basically all the time. 2 kids 2 and under and at 23 weeks pregnant...we do it at least once a week lol

My confession is that I'm a closet fan of the band Creed. I was obsessed with them in high school. I don't like them that much anymore, but I still listen to their music sometimes. I'll rarely admit this to anyone I know because so ashamed!

Sex just feels like a chore. I know, that is a bad attitude to take. I have felt like that even before getting pregnant. DH doesn't initiate it so I don't either. We both are pretty lazy about it, and it makes me sad, but it is almost like we are stuck in this routine now. We talk all the time about making a better effort, but neither of us do. The month we were "practicing" to get pregnant (I say that because that is what we were calling it. We honestly didnt expect it to happen so fast) we did it all the time. I wish we could get back to that, but it just seems like a lot of work.

I can understand this. In the past, I've had a higher sex drive than DH. So, basically, if I initiated it then it happened; if I didn't, it probably didn't. Our frequency actually improved after having a child because now we're more apt to pounce on an opportunity since there are some days or weeks that we're busy/tired/bedtime is hectic and we know we won't have the opportunity every night. Our drives have evened out too-- mine is a bit lower, but DH's is higher now. In a weird way, our sex life has improved so there's more of the, "Hey, let's make the best of this 20-60 minutes," mentality that we had while ttc.

This is my favorite FFFC of all time. I'm glad you can admit it, but you might want to find a support group. Creed is the worst!!!

Ok, I think I have you all beat! I haven't shaved since August! Boom! I really don't care if I am all hairy for doctor's appointments because as a I nurse, I have seen things that make my beast legs look like nothing!

So my FFFC is a little involved so fair warning. Buckle up, ladies...here we go!

Back in October, our pastor announced that he was retiring and that his last Sunday was going to be Jan 31. After a Christian Ed meeting, he pulled me aside and said that he really wanted me to perform the song "For Good" from Wicked for his last Sunday. I was honored and started tearing up and said of course! So I brought it up to our choral director who was also my high school choir director (and still sees me as a student most of the time) and he said "Well, I think it would be more meaningful if the entire choir sang it. Let me find a SATB arraignment." Ok, whatever. So last night was the first time we ran through the song and it just sounds weird as a choral arraignment. It is meant to be a duet and the additional harmonies are a little forced and it doesn't sound right. But my director is adamant and we trudged on, to much protest from especially the altos and tenors who have really bizarre parts. There are two opportunities for solos on the verses so everyone volunteered me to do the Glinda solo and my director was like "And we will need a second female soloist..." and that is when I realized by BFF wasn't there! I quickly texted her, but she was on her way to a ski weekend and I panicked knowing that this other woman in our choir (who is annoying AF and a diva, even though she can't sing!) would pounce on the opportunity to snatch the solo. Well, thankfully, my director said we can revisit that at the next rehearsal and I called my BFF right after choir and frantically asked "Do you know Elphaba's part from 'For Good'?!" and, of course, because we are total nerds, we started singing the song together, I did Glinda's part and she nailed Elphaba's.

I love singing with her because our voices are completely different and have very complimentary tonal qualities. We are both equally great singers and her voice has a clarity and lightness, even in her lower register, while mine is warmer and darker, even when I hit the high notes. When I take the higher harmony and she sings lower, it is an incredible contrast and just sounds awesome! We first sang together at our sons' baptisms (we had a joint ceremony and sang The Celtic Women's "The Blessing" as a duet and it brought down the house!) and since then have been requested to sing together quite a bit.

So here is my confession: I am singing at a funeral tomorrow and our choir director will be my accompanist. I am going to fib (just a little!) and say that our pastor did request that Jill and I do the solos and I really want to make it exactly what he wants, since it is his last Sunday and he made a specific request. I know it sounds silly and trivial, but I always feel so awkward with these sort of things, but in the end, I just want it to be the best possible performance for our pastor. God will forgive me a tiny white lie, right? I'll pray on it, but I am sure it isn't necessarily prideful to acknowledge the gifts and talents that God has granted to me and my friend.

Of course, I was rehearsing my solo for this Sunday and I have to hit a VERY high, sustained note as a descant and right after I landed on it, Baby Luna decided to head-butt me right in the diaphragm! My son would chill out while I was singing, but this one is trying to bust out. I think she is going to be a little diva and is already pushing for the spotlight.

Lol! That's for when there's time for foreplay. We switch positions a good bit too if it's a longer one.

I don't think it's bragging.  At least once a week doesn't sound like basically all the time to me.  It's probably really good for 2 under 2 and pregnant though!

I guess my FFFC is that H and I still do it 3-4 times a week. It's much more difficult now that I have a huge belly!

lol Yes. I get really upset if we don't. Even if I am too tired or not really in the mood. We DTD at least once a week, except this past time because he was sick it was almost two weeks.

@Sunshinebins Sex definitely feels different now that I'm pregnant. In the first trimester it felt AMAZING (always has, but was better). Now it feels weird, still feels good, but at first it feels so weird I want to stop.

It took awhile to get back into the swing of things. 100% honesty here. DS1 was 7 months old. We'd had sex maybe 12 times since he was born. Then one day we got too excited and didn't think about protection and boom ds2 is here lol literally 1 time the whole month lol he was just meant to be

I don't think it's bragging.  At least once a week doesn't sound like basically all the time to me.  It's probably really good for 2 under 2 and pregnant though!


Some times it's more. Usually not. Especially now that ds2 has decided it's no longer cool to sleep through the night anymore lol

We did it ONCE on our honeymoon last week.  ONCE!!  Granted it wasn't a typical honeymoon clearly.  I heard the usual jokes about "did you manage to leave the hotel room??"  Um...yep.  We left it alllll the time.  I feel like a bad wife.

I had IN-N-OUT last night with a vanilla shake. It was ah-mazing. It was also ah-mazing taking a night off from cooking/dishes/cleaning. I ate my meal took a shower and went to bed. Glorious evening.

In the same boat, DH and I have dtd about 5 times since getting KU. Last time we did it was on his birthday LOL, that was about 3 weeks ago. Its nice to hear other couples going through the same stuff.

I win when it comes to lack of sex- I think we've done it twice since I've been pregnant?
And I can't remember the last time I shaved anything other than my underarms .. What a proper lady I am.

My confession - I have every episode of Full House on dvd, and I dvr it everyday as well!

My FFFC is that my breast pump arrived this week (medela's tote with all the equipment, forget what it's called) and reading through the instructions and looking at all the gear just made me absolutely terrified and intimidated about breastfeeding. Just added a huge tub of formula to my Amazon registry. Maybe I'll change my mind when baby gets here but it's not looking good right now.

So another confession? I ran out of v8...I had enough for about 1/4 sippy cup. I'm lazy and don't want to refill it in 5 minutes, so I had just enough red gatorade left in the fridge to fill the cup...and I did. Yup. I'm that mom. Just mixing drinks of the same color and hoping they don't notice lol he seems to be enjoying it anyway lol
