We are having some friends over tonight for some pizza eating and movie watching. Nothing too exciting after that, but so looking forward to getting a haircut on Monday. I go every two months or less and it's the biggest thing I splurge on.
DH office holiday party is on Saturday evening. Some bowling. I'm just super glad it's the weekend and a long one at that, since I'm off for the MLK holiday on Monday!

It's just me and the dogs Saturday, but DH and I plan to grill out Sunday or Monday. Thank you 60°F weather in January! Although it is supposed to get cold later next week, I am excited for this warm patch and lacking snow this winter.
Running errands tonight, acupuncture on Saturday and a kids birthday party, and then Sunday will be my clean-the-house and get-ready-for-the-week day. We have to get the house ready because my sister in law is coming to stay with us for a couple months. We all get along really well, but it should be interesting have a house guest for so long!
edit: almost forgot about the sister in law coming!
Tomorrow we have a family dinner with DH's dad's side of the family. They're super NJ Italian and I love everything about them. Big, loud and fun! Lots of wine to be consumed (I guess by others since I'm in my TWW... wah).
I'm going to lunch Sunday with old friends back from high school so I'm excited to catch up with them all, too.
@GoldenTMama Do you get fertility-specific acupuncture? I'm considering starting it.
ETA I just remembered acupuncture was discussed in a prior thread and went back to read the comments so no need to re-hash it here! Thanks for all the info you gave previously
Sushi tonight - we kept procrastinating on that (we don't go out for dinner much) and then I got a BFP in November faster than we thought - I'm going to binge tonight in the hopes that it will be the last for awhile.
Lots of football too - DH wants to watch all 4 games... sigh
---TW BFP and MC mentioned - scroll down past the Lilo and Stitch gif to avoid ---
No big plans here. We have been trying to find/buy new furniture for forever so will be roaming some furniture stores this weekend. Any interior designers out there with some ideas are welcome! We have a 200 year old house, so finding furniture not made for getting through our hallways etc. is challenging.
Other than that, watching football, cooking, walking our dog. Our usual mellow lives!
My office party is next weekend, so I'm also getting a much needed cut & color Saturday. Sunday, I'll hopefully be watching Roethlisberger pick turf out of his helmet. Go Broncos!

It's now Sat am, but went outdoor skating last night with DH and also my parents (who were super cute and holding hands). Trying to embrace winter weather when possible instead of stuck inside complaining about it.
This may sound weird for someone TTCAL, but I am getting into the show Call the Midwife. I thought I would find it too difficult to watch, but I actually find it a little inspiring - if those women can have healthy babies at astounding rates, I can certainly have at least one! I hope... Anyways, big plans with my couch and Netflix today, with some dog cuddles and walks thrown in. Happy weekend to you all.
