@DumbledoresArmy a Star Wars themed nursery would be awesome. I have a secret nursery daydreaming habit, too. Currently leaning dinosaurs, boy or girl.
Testing Plans: BFN this morning. Probably testing every morning until AF.
R/R/CS: This morning FF gave me a new category under the Pregnancy Monitor: Implantation Signs. The detail column reads "Possibly Triphasic on Day 31." THANKS A LOT FOR THAT CRAY, FF.
I gave in to the cold that has been plaguing me all week and stayed home sick today. Sorry not sorry.
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? Ooh, I love this question. I live in a foodie town and we have soooo many good restaurants. My favorite restaurant is owned and run by a local oyster company, and the deliciousness never ends.
@LGW2015 right there with you on the triphasic thing. It's enough to make you crazy.
@DumbledoresArmy oh my god don't you get anywhere near my husband with that idea for a Star Wars nursery. He will never get over it if he gets that idea in his head.
@Xstatis333@SLou24 both Boston-area ladies? I am too! I’ve never been to East Coast Grill- and probably shouldn’t now since I’ll just be sad it’s closed if it’s awesome!
@Kay6519- good luck on the promotion! Please let us know if you got it- always love a good reason to celebrate!
Testing Plans: testing again today (after 2 BFN already) because i have a birthday party for my best friend tonight.
R/R/CS: A relative is KU after leaving rehab early, having her 3 dogs taken away (one had to be put to sleep because it was in such awful condition), and just generally acting like a complete lunatic. it’s such a mess I can’t believe it. She can’t even take care of a dog and now she will be having a baby.
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish?
I love this Italian restaurant called Luciano’s. I love their bolognese! It also doesn’t hurt that Tom Brady frequents the place

11/12 19/3 -3, -2, -1 I doubt I'm pregnant with this much LP bleeding but I'll test if I'm late DH has his SA today. He has to deliver his specimen within 30 minutes and it's a 20-ish minute drive so I'll be driving like a madwoman to get it there on time Too many to choose - I love this pizza with dates, walnuts and Brussels sprouts at a local pizzeria, the burgers at a provincial chain are delicious, there is amazing fish and chips at this little place in the fishing village, the crab cakes are excellent at a local seafood place, the steaks are delicious at a local steakhouse.
@bestnameever That sucks when someone gets KU and they are a total mess / couldn't care for a baby properly. I hope she gets her act together before the baby comes.
@DumbledoresArmy A Star Wars nursery would be awesome! Unfortunately my DH is anti-Star Wars. He is a total trekkie.
Testing Plans: Don't have much hope from our timing so probably won't test unless AF doesn't show
R/R/CS: My chart is messed up this month and I don't trust FF's CH. My temp, CM and secondary signs (to me) all point to O on CD 21, but I used a space heater and got my bedroom really hot on CD 20 and 21 so those higher temps threw my chart off. If I Oed on CD 21 then I'd be a bit more optimistic with -4, -2, -1 timing. I'm hoping that sperm survived long enough to catch that egg!
GTKY: I live in Philly and Steven Starr owns a bunch of restaurants all over the city that each have different themes so really any of those!
@bestnameever I know Luciano's! Yum! My family has some pretty deep connections in Wrentham, though I haven't lived there since I was a baby. Didn't know Tom was a frequent patron. I grew up in the Worcester area, went to school in Boston and then lived there for a few years after, but when it came time to buy we were a bit priced out and ended up in Providence. I still make it up to Boston at least a couple of times a month, though, and the Wrentham/Foxboro area all the time (including tomorrow...for the game...eeeekkkkkkk... )
I'm so sorry about your relative. That's tough to watch while TTC. Hope she is able to turn things around during her pregnancy.
@HeyBooHey Here I am in Chicago where we are all celebrating the warm temperatures of 35-40 degrees. I don't even feel bad for you
***TW/Question in R/R/CS about CPs***
Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD/DPO: 18/4
Timing: -4, -2, -1, 0
Testing Plans: Haven't decided yet (see R/R/CS)
R/R/CS: I was looking back at old charts about a week ago and my LP has been 13 days for every month I've been charting (started 3 months before TTC) except for November when it was 15 days. At the time I just figured it was the whole "you're regular until you're not," which it very well might have been. But then I was looking at info about CPs and usually the only sign of it is a late period. Since I wasn't testing early (my temp dropped the day I was going to test), I have no way of knowing now and I can't decide if that's a good thing or not. So my question is for anyone who has had a CP (or just anyone who wants to respond): is testing early and at least knowing that you can get pregnant worth the grief from the loss or is ignorance truly bliss?
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? So many good ones. For cheap restaurants Chili's is my favorite and I always get their Skillet Queso. For expensive restaurants, definitely Wildfire. I've only been there once (we had a gift card) but it was so amazing.
Testing Plans: I have been saying Monday but I will probably cave this weekend
R/R/CS: My temps can't decide what they want to do.. Chart is attached if anyone wants to take a gander
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? I really like this teriyaki place in our town that is really good and some awesome Mexican restaurants. Or and I'm always up for sushi!!
Testing Plans: I had to have a serious conversation with myself this morning. Trying to get the rational part of my brain to convince the irrational part of my brain to wait until at least 11 dpo
R/R/CS: got my first CH this morning. It's like accomplishing something. Feels good. And it was on the day I wanted. I was worried it would bump O day to CD 17 or 18 and that wouldn't have lined up with our timing.
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish?
Ooh. There's a little Italian place in my city that has the best garden salad and homemade dressing. Mmmmmm. Now I'm hungry
CD/DPO: 16/2 (I think - at US yesterday RE said I hadn't O'd but bloodwork confirmed O. +OPKs Tues & Wed, Negative yesterday. I think it was Wednesday based on O pains. I know, I know I should be temping but the RE is supposed to be monitoring this better which has be annoyed.)
Timing: -5, -2. 0
Testing Plans: I got really early BPFs with my 2 losses. I am going to try to hold off as long as possible, say 1/24? I suspect I will probably be psycho and start next Friday though.
R/R/CS: I have 2. 1) I am annoyed with the RE's office. I don't think they have monitored me appropriately at all. I have a call in to them this morning to ask a bunch of questions because I don't think they are very organized and don't always give good instructions. I'm a medically minded/person of science. Maybe if I was clueless I would be happier with their care. I'm seriously considering finding another office if I don't have a BFP this month. I mean I am on a clomid cycle and ovulated before my first US for them to check my follies for heaven sake. He assumed last week that I would have another long cycle and didn't check them on CD8 or draw labs. They didn't see it when I was in the office yesterday from the US, scheduled an appointment for Monday & only when the labs came back did they tell me "I very recently ovulated." I knew I had. I had 2 days of +OPKs Tuesday and Wednesday. Was shocked when they thought otherwise. 2) DH was away Tuesday overnight so no BD. I hope the swimmers from Monday were hanging in there all happy & it was enough with BD Wednesday night.
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? Ugh. IDK. There is a restaurant Sips Bistro in my town (Philly Burbs) that is our current favorite go to place. They have an octopus app that is about the best I have ever had anywhere. Their gnocchi with wild boar ragu is also fab.
**Lurker from WTO and TW answering question about CP**
@bcooke314 - I had an early loss at 5w, and I will still be testing early despite the potential heartbreak it could bring. IMO, knowledge is power. If I were to experience repeated CPs, I would like to have that info to share with my doctor or an RE so that they can hopefully figure out what the issue is and address it.
With that said, I probably will try to keep my excitement limited if I get an early BFP (or any BFP for that matter). I will try to treat it like O in terms of excitement... it is exciting because it means there could be a baby at the end of this long journey, but there are no guarantees and the journey is long. Sorry for being a Debbie Downer, but hope that helps!
@Xstatic3333 - Lucky you!!! I am very jealous! My husband is a wimp and won't take me to Jan games because he gets too cold! I don't get to Providence as much as I should. My ILs love Capricio's in Providence- I still haven't made it there yet but we always get them a gift card for xmas! I live in Somerville now- which has gotten as unaffordable as Boston.
I really hope my relative gets her act together, otherwise her parents will end up caring for the child- which they do for their son already. It's a sad situation, but I know my family will not let the child live in an unhealthy environment so at least there's that!
@HeyBooHey Here I am in Chicago where we are all celebrating the warm temperatures of 35-40 degrees. I don't even feel bad for you
I totally agree that the weather outside is amazing. But inside those 100 year old house with no central heat/air or insulation it is so cold! I cannot get it above 60! I am in sweats, wools socks, slippers... I just can't shake the chill.
R/R/CS: I was looking back at old charts about a week ago and my LP has been 13 days for every month I've been charting (started 3 months before TTC) except for November when it was 15 days. I've gone back and forth on this. At first I didn't want to know and wasn't going to test early, and now I would rather know and be able to identify a pattern or problem if there is one. I think it's a personal choice. Personally I don't think I'll get excited again until I have a STRONG bfp, when I had my cp my lines stayed super faint.

^^^^ This... The heartbreak was brutal BUT I am glad that I know I can get KU and I would rather have any and all losses on my medical record so that I can have medical intervention when/if necessary. My doctor won't run tests unless there are 3 losses and I don't know if she would take my word for it. It does suck though because any future BFPs will be shrouded in anxiety. Don't jump to conclusions though, you may have just had a longer LP, as you know, it isn't completely unheard of for it to vary a couple of days.
Me: 32 & DH: 37

Also agree with this... Immediately after my CP, I swore I wasn't going to test again until a week after a missed AF. Once the grief waned, I changed my mind. I won't feel start to feel better until I see a super strong line which makes early testing a mind f*** because you're typically only going to have faint lines until after a missed AF.
Testing Plans: Tomorrow morning, although I'm 90% sure it'll be a BFN.
R/R/CS: The only potential symptoms I've had are constipation and darker urine. The latter is strange because the only liquid I ever consume is water and I drink A LOT of it, so my urine is usually almost completely clear. It's been very noticeably darker for about a week. It's one of those things where, if I'm not KU, I'll have to investigate further into why it's happening. (Sorry if TMI!)
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? There are so many! I guess it's a toss up between two somewhat local (regional) places- The Moe's Nachos at Moe's Original BBQ, or literally any pasta dish from Mirko Pasta. They make their pasta and sauces fresh, on site, daily. So freaking delicious! Oh! And the Shrimp and Goat Cheese Grits at Kitchen on George (local- the chef was on "Throwdown" with Bobby Flay and she won.)! OMG I'm so hungry now!!!
****tw signature, lurker**** Congrats @jhems776 a very h&h 9 months!!
@bcooke314 I understand the point of view of some ladies about knowing you are fertile. But I had a CP 2 months before my actual BFP and it really messed up the beggining of my pregnancy this time. I was a total nervous wreck and had an hard time being excited, enjoying the moment because I was sure I was gonna miscarry again. My 2 cents!
Thanks for the responses I know it's probably more likely that it was just my LP varying, but I'm pretty sure I would like to know for sure if it happens again. I'll talk it over with my husband to see if he would like to know (I definitely wouldn't be able to not tell him if I knew and he didn't want to to know), but it seems I might start testing early this cycle. Thanks again!
Yeah. But I still think those few days of being scared and not knowing are better than having issues and not knowing about that. This shiz is hard all around!
Testing: probably stupid-early because I'm a glutton for punishment. No plans at this time.
R/R/CS: I went off BCP in Sept and every month til now I've had hellish bloating, cramping, and migraines during the entire luteal phase. I also managed to gain a decently painful ovarian cyst. I feel fantastic this month! So far, at least - I know I'm only 3 DPO. I haven't had any pain from the cyst in two weeks, so I'm hoping it's on its way out.
GTKY: I am a decent cook and can make a passable facsimile of things we'd typically go out for. Fresh pasta (mmmmm) and wings are exceptions. We've been stuck on wings from a bar/grill around the corner from our house. They have some of the best in the city and their sauce selection is fantastic.
Now I want wings. And pasta.
Me - 30 DH - 36 Married 10/12/13 TTC #1 since 10/15 Chart!
Testing Plans: 1/24 hopefully. I am on call that weekend and may freak out about radiation exposure and test earlier
R/R/CS: not rant, just rave. So excited to officially make it to this board. First month I have finally ovulated. The +OPK after lots of POAS for months gave me a great mood all week and temp rise confirmed, got my first CH today
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? I absolutely love going to TruFoods and getting their local seasonal vegetable crudités that comes with this amazing katamala olive dip

Testing Plans: BFN this morning. And last Friday. And the Monday before.
R/R/CS: Uggggh. Three days of sore boobs and spotting and AF is STILL not here. Hoping for arrival over the weekend but my "ramp up" to AF usually isn't this long (although nothing about this cycle has been normal so I shouldn't be surprised.) **TW MC** I would normally just be patient but the constant brown spotting started reminding me of my last BFP/MC, so I panicked this morning and tested because I hadn't tested in a week and I was worried it was happening again. BFN of course but I am so ready for a new start.
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? DH and I really enjoy nice dinners out. We have a few favorites but the one that comes to mind right now is the carne asada at this place Rosa Mexicano. That + their tableside guacamole = heaven.
@jhems776 - CONGRATULATIONS! So excited for you. I feel like you're giving those of us in the 6+ months club hope.
@megzb510 - Sorry for the BFN and not feeling well.
@tippy05 - I like Bonefish Grill too! Bang bang shrimp = so good. FX for tomorrow--your timing looks great!
@Xstatic3333 - We're in the Boston area too -- never been to East Coast but I'm sorry that they're closing. I totally get the sadness when a favorite place goes under.
@yailani23 - I love hispanic/latino food too -- it's some of my favorite.
@ejmo68 - Hooray for getting over sinus junk! I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel of my own cold after 13 days so I can definitely relate.
@korycir - Sorry about the BFN but it's still early.
@LINDSEYRVA - Sorry about the BFN and boo for the FF cray.
@bestnameever - Sorry for the BFNs and the relative. I can't help it--I get so judgy when I see people get BFPs who are so clearly not ready to be parents.
@LadyMillil - Good luck with that drive. :-) Sorry for the LP bleeding but you're not out until you're out.
@pambtoro - That timing isn't too terrible. Hang in there.
@bcooke314 - That's a really hard question. *TW MC* I've thought a lot about whether I'm glad I know about my early MC and I think I am, but it's definitely a rough thing to go through. I lean on the side of knowing overall but I can definitely see both sides. that having been said, if you were only 2 days late I'd be that it was just a wonky long LP or a later O and not a CP.
@AmMcc12 - I think your O day still looks right to me. Are you temping orally? Any room temperature variations/illness/mouth breathing that could be throwing off your LP temps? They're not too too rocky especially if you take out the highest one and ignore the open circle temp on CD12. I'm guessing they'll start either diving or rising soon but it's a bit too early to say which, which must be frustrating.
@MrsBinPA - That is so frustrating! FX that you get a BFP this cycle so that you don't have to deal with this RE anymore. And your timing is great even with no Tuesday.
@bcooke314 I had a CP last month and it was absolutely awful to have that happiness replaced with fear. However, (and FX this isn't the case) if I have additional ones, I'll know if I test early and will be able to get early help from my doctor if needed.
ETA: Just saw all the other ladies' responses on this so sorry I didn't really add anything different!
@jhems776 congrats!!! 7 months is a long time to wait! H&H 9
Month/cycle: 4/3

R/R/CS: where is AF? I'll be surprised if my LP is longer but I guess a day or two wouldn't be outrageous. No cramps yet but I'm sure she'll be here today/tomorrow. I think at this point i'm so absorbed in charting that I've forgotten there's a means to an end here! I'm sure when our time comes it will be such a surprise.
GTKY: We have a delicious Japanese teppanyaki restaurant nearby where they do tricks with their knives and stuff, the food is to die for, especially the homemade Asian sauces they serve with the different dishes.

Idk. My first CP really rocked me hard. I tested around the time AF was due, got a positive digital, went in for a beta, HCG was 19. Next day 18. I started bleeding the next day and all and all like you said it, my period was a little under a week late. I was devastated BUT I had a really really REALLY bitchy effin nurse give me the news. She wasn't nice to me until I started crying.
This recent one, I had a few positives before a missed period that got lighter in color. At that point I knew it was a CP. I started 2 days late.
For me, I'm glad I knew I got pregnant. It was the second month ttc. My doctor said they are really common.
And of course as soon as I post in the TWW - CD1 is officially here. So relieved that I don't even care that I had to change undies at work. Good luck to everyone still in and hope to see none of you in WTO!

GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? Ooh, I love this question. I live in a foodie town and we have soooo many good restaurants. My favorite restaurant is owned and run by a local oyster company, and the deliciousness never ends.

@Tippy05 that's exciting about the basement!
@Kay6519 GL on the promotion. Keep us posted!
@murray1030 your timing looks pretty decent. I wouldn't worry about it.
@SLou24 that noise would drive me nuts.
@jhems776 congratulations!!! HH9!
@lilylover27 yay for CH!
@LGW2015 right there with you on the triphasic thing. It's enough to make you crazy.
@DumbledoresArmy oh my god don't you get anywhere near my husband with that idea for a Star Wars nursery. He will never get over it if he gets that idea in his head.

@Xstatis333 @SLou24 both Boston-area ladies? I am too! I’ve never been to East Coast Grill- and probably shouldn’t now since I’ll just be sad it’s closed if it’s awesome!
@Kay6519- good luck on the promotion! Please let us know if you got it- always love a good reason to celebrate!
@jhems776- Congratulations! H&H 9 to you!
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 28/13
Timing: EOD during FW
19/3
-3, -2, -1
I doubt I'm pregnant with this much LP bleeding but I'll test if I'm late
DH has his SA today. He has to deliver his specimen within 30 minutes and it's a 20-ish minute drive so I'll be driving like a madwoman to get it there on time
Too many to choose - I love this pizza with dates, walnuts and Brussels sprouts at a local pizzeria, the burgers at a provincial chain are delicious, there is amazing fish and chips at this little place in the fishing village, the crab cakes are excellent at a local seafood place, the steaks are delicious at a local steakhouse.
@DumbledoresArmy A Star Wars nursery would be awesome! Unfortunately my DH is anti-Star Wars. He is a total trekkie.
CD/DPO: 26/4
Timing: -5, -3, -2
I'm so sorry about your relative. That's tough to watch while TTC. Hope she is able to turn things around during her pregnancy.
CD/DPO: 27/9
Timing: -5, -2, 0
Testing Plans: I have been saying Monday but I will probably cave this weekend
R/R/CS: My temps can't decide what they want to do.. Chart is attached if anyone wants to take a gander
GTKY: What's your favorite restaurant and what's your favorite dish? I really like this teriyaki place in our town that is really good and some awesome Mexican restaurants. Or and I'm always up for sushi!!
ETA chart
DS1 -- 9/30/2016
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 21/5
Timing: -5, -2, -1
Month/Cycle: 12/1 TTCAL#2

I really hope my relative gets her act together, otherwise her parents will end up caring for the child- which they do for their son already. It's a sad situation, but I know my family will not let the child live in an unhealthy environment so at least there's that!

@MRSCORKER - So sorry about the BFN!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 23/13
Timing: Decent
Edited cuz grammar.
Congrats @jhems776 a very h&h 9 months!!
My 2 cents!
@strickland8052 @mamadomino @MRSCORKER ETA: @jolydan
Thanks for the responses
Thanks again!
Yeah. But I still think those few days of being scared and not knowing are better than having issues and not knowing about that. This shiz is hard all around!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 19/3
Timing: -2, -1, +1
And pasta.

CD/DPO: 43/30 (LOL go home FF, you're drunk)
Timing: N/A
Testing Plans: BFN this morning.
@Marley629 - Sorry for the BFN.
@Businesswife - Sorry for the BFN/temp dip.
@yailani23 - I love hispanic/latino food too -- it's some of my favorite.
@ejmo68 - Hooray for getting over sinus junk! I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel of my own cold after 13 days so I can definitely relate.
@kay6519 - FX for the new job!
@br0cco1ii - Hooray for working the BBT out!
@pretzel2plus1 - FX the headache goes away soon. :-(
@murray1030 - Your timing is totally fine! 3/4 days in your fertile window is great. FX for you.
@Slou24 - Hello fellow Boston-area bumpie! Never been to Lineage but maybe we will check it out.
@rkstro2- FX the anxiety goes away and you can get through the last part of your TWW stress free.
@superscarf - FX for when you do test!
@mamadomino - Totally get the urge to test early. No shame.
@anj27- Hooray for ovulating earlier!
@csiigusz - FX that you can move to the next cycle soon if you're out.
@MRSCORKER - So so sorry for the BFN and false BFP. Hugs.
@lilylover27 - Hooray for crosshairs!
@LGW2015 - FX that your chart is actually triphasic and that your temps keep rising!
@DumbledoresArmy - Pinterest is evil when it comes to baby ideas. :-)
@QueenDaenerysT - FX you get the good news you are hoping for.
@m6agua - Good diners are awesome.
@HeyBooHey - Stay warm!
@Maybeonemore - FX for willpower. :-)
@MrsBinPA - That is so frustrating! FX that you get a BFP this cycle so that you don't have to deal with this RE anymore. And your timing is great even with no Tuesday.
@Thea519 - FX for testing tomorrow!
@QueenSunscreen - Hooray for feeling better and finally getting the post-BC effects out of your system!
@SnobunnieMel - Welcome!

@bcooke314 I had a CP last month and it was absolutely awful to have that happiness replaced with fear. However, (and FX this isn't the case) if I have additional ones, I'll know if I test early and will be able to get early help from my doctor if needed.
