About a bra...

I've been on a mission to get all the items on my list to be prepared for showtime. Last week I ordered two nursing bras from Bravado, but I wasn't crazy about them when they came. It's a risk to buy things online, especially bras, to be sure. However, today I was at Target and found this very simple nursing bra- also by Bravado called the "Emma" maternity and nursing sleep bra. You guys, it is the shit. It is so comfortable. It's like... boob socks. Not sexy, but easy and comfortable. There are no hooks or clasps, you just lift it up to nurse and it's very stretchy and soft. I just wanted to share with you all, in case you've been looking for a comfortable bra to bring to the hospital. I wear a 40 D, and though it's not exactly great support, it allows you to feel comfortably contained and secure. I feel like a dork for being this excited about it, but... it's the little things in life.

    Word of advice from a third time mom. Don't buy all your nursing bras before you have baby. I went up 2 cup sizes after having my last LO. (Not saying you're planning on buying them all now, just wanted to give a heads up lol)
  • Loading the player...
  • Boob socks!! :lol::lol: that's great!
    I'll probably look into them and see if they have my size and get at least one! My boobs are still non stop growing and I fear I will run out of alphabet by the time the baby comes, so I'm waiting on nursing bras. Plus for a couple of weeks right after she's born I can just free boob it around the house, no one but me will be home anyways!
  • I have a sleep nursing bra I got from Target that may be that brand. Just so comfy like boob socks lol.
  • Boob socks is now my new favorite term. Adding that to the list with Drama Llama.
  • I have been wearing nothing but nursing bras for the past 2.5 years and just got a Bravado one - it is def. one of the most comfortable! Also, to echo a PP, wait to buy more because your boob size will fluctuate like crazy (or at least mine did). They were huge after my milk came in for a few months, then went back to normal, then got smaller than ever, then big again when I got preggo again.
  • but...they aren't allowed to get bigger than the Bravado ++

    anyone find anything larger than that in the stretchy sports bra style?
