I haven't been regular on this board for a couple of years now. I remember seeing all the TTC #2 posts when I was here last, struggling to conceive #1 and feeling annoyed. And now I'm that person. So for any mama-to-be TTC #1, the struggle is real, I know.
I am 38 now, and my daughter Max just turned 14 mos. We have been TTC #2 for six months, and it's been as difficult this time as it was the first time. I test in about a week, but I'm not hopeful. I do have the mentality that if we only have Max, I'd be blessed. But, another would be really great. The cherry on top.
I just wanted to say hello as I'll be a little more present here, I imagine. xo
Welcome! While I am one of the TTC#1 people, I think this board to be the exception to my eyerolling when I'm still over here trying for my first. I have received so much support on this board from all the 35+ers regardless of what number they are going for. I wish you luck this go around and hope your stay is not long.
Welcome and Good Luck! It's so funny you mention the TTC#2ers because I was on TTGP board years ago(under a different name) and found those that would complain about their difficulties TTC#2, meaning they already had 1!!, annoying. It drove me nuts. I think now that I have my LO, I try to complain less and almost always mention how grateful I am to have her. Knowing where all the first timers are now makes me hold back little, honestly. I sometimes have to be reminded it's ok to want another one and it's ok to ache for #2. For all the reasons you have, I wish you lots of luck and offer support
