Curious to know about your 4 month old

My twins were born 6 weeks early @ 33wks 5dys. They are 4 months and 1 week old. I've seen babies their age and even a little younger who are bigger than them. No I am not worried about them because I know they have an adjusted and corrected age due to being premies. But it amazes me to see how much bigger other babies are compared to them. So I'm curious to know about your 4 month old.
My twins birth weight: 4lbs 4.5oz & 3lbs 12oz
Length: 17 inch.
Current weight:
10.5lbs & 10lbs.
Length: 23inch
Clothes: 0-3/3months
Diaper size: 2
Amount of milk in a day: 26oz

My little guy is 3 1/2 months...

Birth Stats:
9lbs 4oz
0-3 month clothes (never wore newborn)

Currently:
15lbs
3-6 month clothes - and edging into 6-9 months

He nurses so i don't know how much he eats other than its every two hours. When he does have a bottle with pumped milk he has 4oz in a session.

My guy was a 34 weeker! But he was only 2lbs 13 ozs when he was born. At his four month appointment he was 9 lbs even and 23 inches long. He drinks between 20-25 oz a day!

Born at 40+4 with a weight of 6 lbs 15oz. She lost down to 6lb within 4 days. Hrr height was 20 inches.

Don't have an exact weight but around 13.5 to 14 lbs

I feel as though she is smaller than several of the babies on here her age, but I think she's going to be talking and skinny like hee father. We go Monday for her 4 month shots, so we will see what the doctor says about her progress. She eats 5 oz every 3.5 to 4 hours.

O my goodness! Precious little ones! @bnwillia3 i pump my boys were in the NICU for a month and I would go home @ night because of my 5 year old so they got used to the bottle.

@CEW225 its normal for babies to lose weight after birth. My "Baby A"( hate calling them that lol) went from 4pounds 4.5oz to 3 pounds 14 ounces. And my "Baby B" went from 3 pounds 12oz to 3 pounds 6oz. I think she looks just perfect!

My little guy was born at 41 weeks
Birth stats: 10 lbs 2 Oz and 23 inches long
We are about to have our 16 week doctor visit next week so I don't have exact weight and length, but I have weighed and measured him at home
Current: 17.5 lbs and 25 inches long
He's into 9 - 12 month clothes, mostly for his feet and thighs!

My daughter was 5 pounds 7 oz at birth. At 19 weeks now, she weighed 11 pounds 9 oz and was 24.5" long yesterday.
She's had some growth issues, but the Dr was really happy yesterday with her progress.
We feed her breast milk, fortified with formula for extra calories and also rice cereal for reflux.
She eats between 20-25 oz per day. I think as long as she consistently puts on weight, our Dr is happy!

Also, I constantly worry if she eats enough...but she is growing
And she wears some 0/3, 3 month, a few 3/6 month. Depends on length. She often has pants too short or fit lengthwise but they fall off her butt!

My younger twin siblings were born at the same time and a few ounces smaller then yours! They're 21 now and you would never know they were peemies

My LO was born at 37 weeks 6 days
He was 6 lbs 15 oz and 19 inches

He's currently 18 weeks
He's 18 lbs 15 oz and 26 1/2 inches
He's in 6-9 month clothes and size 4 diapers
He eats 4-6 oz every 2-4 hours and we just started 8 tsp of rice a day

For being born early I can't believe how big my son is. My pediatrican told him he's the size of a 1 year old and it blows my mind. Here's a picture of my not so little chub

Little man will be 4 months in the 18th (Monday, I think?) He was 8 lbs 7 ozs and 20.5 inches long when he was born (induced at 39 weeks). I don't know how much he weighs exactly at the moment, but he's over 26 inches long based on home measurements and was almost 14 lbs 5 weeks ago. We'll see how big he is now at his doctor's appointment on Wednesday, but as far as I can tell, he trends towards the larger side, but he's long and skinny.

He wears 3-6 month clothes but can comfortably wear 6-9 month as well - depends on the brand. He's comfortably in size 3 diapers. I breastfeed 98% of the time, but when I give him a bottle, he'll suck down an easy 6-8 ounces. He sleeps 11 hours consistently through the night and is capable of self soothing himself back to sleep if he wakes up before it's the right time.

I have one of those big babies you mentioned Both my DH and I were huge babies ourselves, so I'm not surprised!

@squigles28 i fortify my breast milk as well and will have to until they are 6 months & i know what you mean. My boys wear 3 months and its big on their butts bit perfect length wise. Im glad shes growing!
@chelseajeanene yes i heard preemies tend to grow really tall. Thanks for the reassurance!hes handsome & sure does look like a 1 year old! You probably have an athelete in your hands

She was born on her due date at 40 weeks exactly!
My birth weight: 7lbs 9oz

Clothes: Depends on the brand, but mostly 6 months or 6-9 months
Diaper size: 2s we're getting a little tight so we just moved up to a 3. They are a little big still but won't be for long I'm sure!
Amount of milk in a day: She takes 7 oz every 4 or so hours using the day. She sometimes sleeps through the night but if she doesn't, she only wakes up once usually. We took her for her 4 month checkup today and we are going to start rice cereal in the next few days.

Born right on time. 7 lb 13 oz. dropped to 7 lb 3 oz by a few days after. She was 22 inches long but recorded as 20 in the hospital.

At 4 months she is 12 lb 13 oz and 25 inches long. For awhile she was at or below 5th percentile and now I think she's at 25th percentile. Grateful for the 3 month growth spurt. She's been catching up since it started.

She is just switching into 3-6 month clothes and just moved up to size 2 diapers.

LO was born at 39+4 at 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. She was down to 6 lbs even after some supply issues and was a slow gainer. She's 16 weeks today and based on our scales she's around 12 lbs 8 oz and 25 inches long. We go for her 4 month appointment next week so they my height/weight aren't precise. She needs size 2 diapers but we're finishing off our size 1s first. She's in 0-3 and 3 month clothes. She drinks 25-30 oz of formula a day and she's growing like a weed now!

Thank you so much! My DH's dreams will come true if he becomes an athlete lol but you're welcome! And it's gotta be true about the peemies being tall because the boy twin is the tallest member of the family now lol

Currently; 4 months 2 weeks (19 weeks), 17 lbs 9 oz, 24 and 1/2" long.

He's wearing 3-6/6month clothing and size 2 diapers.. though I think we will be in 3s in the next month.

Amount of milk in a day: 27-30oz, it varies every day. We've also stared solids so he gets maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of the stage 1 small baby food containers a day as well.

He was 5 lbs 15 oz. biggest preemie in our NICU
He was 4 months last week and at his apt he was 15 lbs and 25 inches. About 40-50th percentile for a regular 4 month old. At his adjusted age it's more like 90th percentile.
He eats about 30 oz a day.

@Kristyhana he is so big. He doesnt look like a preemie! He's precious. We are trying to get my boys between the 5th & 10th percentile for a regular 4 month old(they are slighlty below the 5th) their doc isn't scaling th em on a preemie scale but he says they are growing @ a good pace and my smaller twin finally caught up to my bigger twin. Im glad your son made it past the 5th percentile

It amazes me how big all these babies are( in a good way of course) even with DD i went over a week and she still had to wear preemie clothes for a while.
Cant wait to see these babies grow in the next few months/years. And all these babies are adorable!

My son was born at 39 weeks. His birth weight was 7 lb and 11oz. He was 20 1/2 inches long.
At 19 weeks he's now weighing 13 lb 11oz and he's 25 inches long, in size 2 diapers and wearing 3-6 or 6 month clothes.
His pediatrician told me he's a little on the lean side but it's because of his length.
He is breastfed and when I pump I see he gets about 4-5 oz a feeding. I recently started giving him oatmeal cereal also.
Sigh. My baby nug'z has found his feet. ❤️

My twins were born at 35w3days. Baby A 4lbs8oz 17in and Baby B was 5lbs 17 3/4in. At their 4 month appt baby A was 12lbs 9oz 23in and baby B was 13lbs 3oz 23 1/2in. They wear size 2 diapers but I have a feeling we will be moving to size 3 soon! They are formula fed and we feed on demand so honestly I have no idea how much they eat in a day. They wear 3 month clothes but we had to move up to 6 month pjs for length since their toes were getting smushed! Looking at them now you'd never know they were premies. Your babies look happy and healthy! Good job mama!!

@vibarra27 most places he is the 6-9 range, but carters he is the 9-12 (they seem to run small for us). Its mainly his length that becomes the issue with onesies and pjs.  Pants his belly doesn't really fit the 6-9 well...little snug

My lo was born at 39 weeks, 9 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches long.

At his 4 month apt he was 19 lbs 2 oz, and 27 inches long. He is cureentry in 12 mth onsies and pants, and 9 mth jumper/ sleepers. He is also in size 3 diapers, and eats around 39 ounces.

My girl was born at 37 and 2 she was 6 pounds 5 ounces but at 4 months now she's 16 pounds 25.5 inches long and wearing 6 month clothes.
