Pregnant after 35

It is 8:29 pm and I am going to bed.

First tri exhaustion is real, ya'll. That is all.

Re: It is 8:29 pm and I am going to bed.

  • I only just felt the full force of exhaustion today for the first time. It kind of feels like I'm under water. And I'm in bed by 8:30 many a nights and this was going on well b4 i got KU! Enjoy the rest!!
  • Yup, I slept an average of 12 hours/day for most of first trimester. And many days I also took power naps on my office floor whenever I could get away with it. I didn't have much nausea, but the exhaustion definitely made me sure I was pregnant.

  • Well. It's good I went to bed at 8:30, because my toddler got up at 11:00 and then at 3:00 and is now up for the day at 4:20am! Ugh.
  • I almost always go to bed at 8:30 or 9. But I work 7-3 and am normally up at 4:30. I was definitely exhausted during the first tri and would sometimes hit the hay as early at 6:30. I say if your body needs sleep that try to give in as much as you are able.
  • This weekend I went to bed at 7pm and woke up at 8:30am!

  • I also went to bed at 8:30 and for the first time in weeks, slept straight through to 6:30 am. It was marvelous!!!!
  • I'm right there with you. It's only 7:36 p.m. and I'm already wondering if I can get away with slinking up there soon. :)
  • When pregnant with my DD I remember sleeping A LOT. And hard, for hours & hours. This time, I am ready to crash by no later than 9pm. I then wake up about every hour & a half. Then I'm up for the day at 4-5am.
  • I've been alternating between those two scenarios.
