Heart beat correlation to gender?

With my daughter her heart beat was always I'm the 150s or low 160. This baby was 143 at 7 1/2 weeks! So most would say boy I believe.

Was this true for any of you in the past? I realize it can be totally wrong but I'm just curious as to how often it's right vs wrong.

My daughter's heart rate was low my entire pregnancy.

Both of my DS were below 150! Except one appointment it was high (after I already knew it was a boy)

My daughter was 160s

My son's was 170 at 11 weeks. Towards the end of my pregnancy, it dropped to 155.

The problem is, you have no idea if your baby is asleep or awake when you hear the heartbeat, and that makes all the difference in the rate. So it's a false way to guess sex.
