Re: TWW Monday

• Month/Cycle: 7/6

CD/DPO: 18/ 3 or 2

Timing: Either -5, -2, O or -3, -1, +1 ... Not sure which of these is "better", probably the latter

Testing Plans: None yet... Just enjoying the chill that is the beginning of TWW

R/R/CS: I'm just happy to be here. This may be an UO but I honestly enjoy the TWW way more than WTO! I just find so much pressure to get things perfect with WTO, but now I can just relax and wait it out. I guess it's just the first week of TWW that I really relax though because after that I start to go a little crazy. Anyway, I'm also happy that I think I'm getting a good feel for CP, I've been able to note regular and pretty obvious changes the past few cycles. Finally. Yay!

GTKY: Hmm.. I would still work, because I crave human interaction. Even if it was just part time, I would definitely work. Would I stay in the same job that I have right now? No, probably not, since my hours are all over the place and it is super high stress. Since I'd only be working part time, I'd also travel more -- maybe plan a trip once per month? That sounds nice :)

Month/Cycle: 1/1

CD/DPO: 23/11

Timing: -2, 1 (

Testing Plans: BFN this morning.

R/R/CS: Per FF, AF is due tomo; FF gave me CH on 31st but I think I possibly O'd on the 2nd. I got a peak smiley on 12/29 with the clearblue advanced monitor but the wondfo opks didn't turn positive until 1/1 & 1/2 and I had O Pain on the 2nd. From chart, does it indicate that I possibly Ovulated on 2nd and not 31st and perhaps I am only 9 DPO or am j just reaching?

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? As a working mom, I get a little jealous that all the mommy and me activities are during the week- I would probably quit my job in a heartbeat and engage in all of those activities - once he hits school age, I would def focus my time on volunteering. I really enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity in college so I think I would most likely do something with them.

• Month/Cycle: 3/2

CD/DPO: 30/7

Timing: Not good enough, apparently.

Testing Plans: Meh.

R/R/CS: I'm still here, but just barely. Temp dropped again slightly this morning, and I'm feeling bloated and gross. If I'm out today, my LP is awfully short.

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? Husband and I talked about this last night, and he told me that all my answers were boring. I just... really like my job. But I think I would do less of it. And I would travel a lot more than I do now.

• Month/Cycle: 4 (2 TTCAL)

CD/DPO: 22/6 (I think)

Timing: -4, -3, -1, 0

Testing Plans: holding out for Saturday (11 DPO)

R/R/CS: FF thinks I should have O'd on Tues and CM/CP seem to kind of line up with that, so that's what I'm going with this time. I feel so stupid that I didn't temp this cycle. I had a rough start with temping and not getting consistent/enough sleep so I thought I'd just give temping a rest this cycle but it's turning out to be more confusing than not. If this isn't it, then back to temping for sure!

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? Quit my job, in a second. I'd move closer to my family and would spend my day volunteering (with the school, with organizations close to my heart like the Special Olympics) and would travel. I'd also hire a personal chef/nutritionist. Also, I'd 100% take care of our parents and siblings.

• Month/Cycle: 10/5

CD/DPO: 22/1

Timing: -3, -1, 0

Testing Plans: Not sure yet, we'll see if I am moved do to so eventually.

R/R/CS: I am pretty sure I actually did ovulate!! Very exciting. I took my temp this morning after not having temped in a long time and it was my typical high temp I usually get after O. OPKs said yes, too. If it's true, this is the shortest cycle I've ever had in my life! (Even with Oing on day 21!) Yay clomid!

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? I would take more French horn lessons and try to win a big audition. As it is right now, I can't practice very much with my crazy teaching schedule.
• So sorry about CD 1, @Paturkey!

@MRSCORKER, your temps are steadily creeping up. Not trying to add to the BSC, but FX for you!

Month/Cycle: 6/5

CD/DPO: 37/7

Timing: -1, O

Testing Plans: Friday is the earliest I'm going to let myself.

R/R/CS: I went to go stock up on some HPTs yesterday (because BSC, of course), and I meant to get some digitals, but I accidentally grabbed the wrong clear blue box. I didn't realize it until I got home. I kind of want to return them, but maybe they'll be okay. If I even get to the point of needing them!

GTKY: I agree with most of the above, I would definitely travel! And sit on the beach with a good book, and crochet a ton! But, while I may not stay at my current job, I would want to keep busy with something: church work, volunteering, etc.

• Sorry about cd 1 @Paturkey

@SLou24 I agree that the TWW is less stressful, at least the first week. Then I get a little crazy.

Month/Cycle: 4/4 (9/10 all together now)

CD/DPO: 21/9

Timing: -1,0,+1

Testing Plans: the 21st

R/R/CS: I had a temp drop yesterday with some very light spotting. I usually have a 16 day lp so of course I was getting real speshull thinking it was the implantation unicorn visiting. Today the temp went up, but not enough to keep me optimistic. AF may just be choosing to be a huge bitch and show up a week early.
(P.S. When I type 'speshull', my phone wants to autocorrect to 'apes hurl' that's good.)

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day?

I would travel, dh and I talk about a beach house, and if probably get certified in some fitness instruction. Zumba or kickboxing. I've always wanted to, but it's a lot of cost at not a lot of gain.

Gotcha. I would agree that the 2nd looks good for O. How long is your LP typically? It blows but the only way to know for sure is to see when AF or a BFP pop up. FX for the latter!

ETA: Do you normally use the CB Adv. OPKs? I hear mixed things about them. Also, I very clearly O'd on CD 16 - I got a positive regular OPK that morning (very normal for me to get a positive the day of O) and just for shits and giggles, I also took a FR digi OPK that morning as well which was negative. I just ignored the negative because it was obviously wrong. I say that just to make the point that OPKs can't always be trusted. Maybe you had a surge on the 29th but didn't actually O for a few more days?

GTKY: I would definitely sing more, travel more, and spend more time with my church music ministry and another fellowship group I haven't seemed to have much time for these days... I'm definitely a social person though, so I would have to get out! Oh, and hire a personal trainer and possibly chef and be in peak physical condition, and lots of massages and facials, too Ahhhh....

R/R/CS: I am 10000% sure I o'ed yesterday. My body makes a big show of it...temp spike this morning confirms it. I am happy to be back in the TWW. WTO is pretty depressing. I feel so much less pressure this month to test. Last two months my test dates have fallen on thanksgiving and Christmas. Because I wanted a holiday BFP or holiday drinks, I felt a lot of pressure on those days. Nothing to stress about this month, so I am planning to actually wait until I am late. I have been using them for a few months. I used them with DS 1 too but I will say I found it odd that in the 1st I got a low reading on CB advanced but a very strong positive on the wondfo so that made me doubt them. That coupled with the clear ovulation pains I had on 2nd makes me lean towards today only being 9dpo. But you are right - only time will tell :)

Month/Cycle: 5, 1 after cp

CD/DPO: 21/3

Timing: not great

Testing Plans: the further I get into this cycle the earlier I want to test. I had a cp last month and I would rather not know if that happens again, but I just want to testtttttttt.

R/R/CS: I think I'm 3 DPO but don't know for sure. I've been out of town the last few days but cm and cp point to O. We shall see I guess. Is there any point in resuming temping for the rest of my cycle?

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? Volunteer, travel, and do fun stuff with my kid.

**TW: CP mentioned**

@mamadomino A lot of ladies stop temping after confirming O, I personally like to keep temping so I can see variations in my LP. After my CP, it was important to me to keep temping because I wasn't sure what my cycle was going to do. It's totally a personal choice. Also, Re: wanting to know about subsequent CPs... when I was going through that, I felt the same way. I swore I would never test early again. I changed my mind, only because if something were to go wrong, I want it on my medical record so that I can have testing/medical intervention in the future if necessary. A lot of docs won't intervene/test unless you've had 3 or more losses. It would be a nightmare, but if that's my path, I want any potential problems addressed sooner rather than later. Just my 2 cents, I completely respect your decision to hold off though. I get it!

Testing Plans: Still wanting to wait til Friday, but I usually cave around 12 dpo. We'll see how antsy I start feeling. Or maybe I'll pretend none of this is really happening so I don't waste more tests.

R/R/CS: Af isn't due til Friday according to FF but I'm starting to feel some cramping and my regular pms GI symptoms returning so I already feel like I'm out. This blows.

After a massive luxurious trip with my whole family (that's always been my go-to $$$$ dream), I think I would still like to do medicine. I might feel more free to look at research opportunities in other specialties.
I would also hire a housekeeper/cook to pick up my second shift, or at least buy groceries for us. Cooking's just not fun if I *have* to do it.

• @SLou24 I totally agree, TWW is much better than WTO, particularly the first week.

Month/Cycle: 7/7

CD/DPO: 21/7

Timing: EOD

Testing Plans: still dunno, waiting till at least 9 DPO

R/R/CS: H did the Trak at home sperm count again and the number what much higher than the first time. I know it just shows count but hey I'll take good news. If anyone is interested we did the BU Presto study and he was selected to get this kit free. I have filled out like three questionnaires. I was going to bump the original thread but cannot find it so here is a link if you want to help out science https://sites.bu.edu/presto/ .

GTKY: I don't really know. I want to travel but that is not really the day to day thing. I think I may set up my own charity and not run it but be advisory board person. Another thought is take random classes, some easy/fun and some hard (I will master bio-chem one of these days).
• @MRSCORKER Thanks and sorry for your loss as well! I think my question probably wasn't very clear... I wasn't able to confirm o with my temps before I went out of town. I suspect I ovulated on Friday based on cm and cp, but that was the last morning I temped so I didn't see a shift. Since then I've been staying in a hotel with my toddler, plus another mom and toddler. I knew my temps wouldn't be accurate so Instead of going crazy trying to figure out what they mean I chose to skip it. I may temp for a few days just to see if I can see a shift from earlier in the cycle, which may help me determine with a little more certainty that I did ovulate.

I agree that testing earlier would be helpful to determine if there is an issue... I just don't know if my heart can watch lines fade again! I'm pretty confident no matter what I say now I'll cave and test early anyway. Thanks for the help!

Oh, gotcha. You were clear, I just didn't read correctly. I think I would temp for a few more days just to see if they are typically post-O level temps. I know what you mean about not wanting to see fading lines. It's the worst feeling.

• Month/cycle: 7/6

CD/DPO: 33/14

Timing: 0, +1

Testing: I probably won't have to, at this point.

R/R/CS: Temp dipped down below CL today, along with spotting. AF is due Wed but I wouldn't be surprised if she showed early.

GTKY: Buy land, build a house, and raise/grow as much of our food as possible. Also buy my parents a beach house. Then we could visit whenever we wanted.

Travel Europe/Asia. We go to Mexico and Carribbean destinations but have not vacationed overseas... unless you count that trip to Iraq in 2005 lol

Thinking happy thoughts for those in limbo or if you're seeing a BFN. This internet stranger wishes you all BFPs very, very soon. :)

Month/Cycle: 4/4

CD/DPO: 23/8

Timing: -4, -1

Testing Plans: Holding out for 1/16. Five.More.Days.Sweet.Baby.Jesus.

R/R/CS: I can feel the BSC coming on strong, especially since I could really be 10DPO if my O calculations were off. Hoping to see some BFPs since there are quite a few of us testing this weekend. FX for all of you ladies.

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? Make sure my 2 sisters (their families) and my dad were set for life. We'd all go to Disney and spend money like mad. I would definitely quit my job and travel the world. I've been lucky to go to some great places in Europe so I'd love to take DH & DD there to show them where I got to live, work, and hang out. We haven't actually gotten any Powerball tix yet, but I imagine we'll get one for the upcoming drawing. :D

ETA: I posted this before seeing your BFP, @PoodleDoodleOoo . Congrats!!

Month/Cycle: 3/3

CD/DPO: 25/10

Timing: -3, -1, O

Testing Plans: Today. BFN

R/R/CS: Not surprised about the BFN but trying to be proactive before going into laser eye surgery on Wednesday. That'll put me at 12DPO so I'll know almost with certainty before committing fully. It will be a very exciting day regardless! They said not to be KU for it since you get drugs and antibiotics and it's a bit of a trauma. WOOHOO WEDNESDAY!

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day? Have a farm on the edge of the city and love my farm animals and grow my own food and throw dinner parties Gatsby style

• @PoodleDoodleOoo Congrats!!!

** question in testing plans ***

Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD/DPO: 22/9

Timing: Good

Testing Plans: what's the earliest "real" acceptable testing day? I see people test anywhere from 9-14 days.

R/R/CS: Temped this morning after taking a vacation from it this past weekend. Still above cover line but I have ~25 day cycles so I'm not reading into that. I also seem to stay high my whole period.

GTKY: With all the powerball madness right now, if money wasn't an object, what would you do all day?
I've never given that thought because I enjoy my job, but maybe hobby farming? I've also always wanted to do medical missions.

@SLou24 - I like TWW better, too. Temping for O stresses me out.
