When we were pregnant with our second we got the contours options stroller.. the seats come off and can be switched around on the frame for multiple riding positions. I love love love that thing! The storage is unbeatable - the basket underneath is huge. It can be a little heavy, but steers great. I'm not positive of the weight limits off the top of my head, but we used it in Chicago a couple summers ago with our boys who were 4 & 2 at the time and are both >90%ile for height and weight. I see you weren't looking for the click connect option, but it does have a bar available to attach an infant seat. Or just keep your single stroller and wear the new babe
I'll have a 24 month old by the time September rolls around. All of the research I've done says if the age gap is under two years to get a regular double stroller and if the age gap is larger than 2 years to get a sit n' stand. BUT WHAT IF THEY'RE EXACTLY TWO YEARS APART!? Gah.
How young is too young for a sit n' stand? I was looking at a Joovy Caboose Varylight.

My son will be 24 months when this baby arrives as well. I am currently looking at the Baby Trend Sit n Stand Eclipse double stroller. It's not the best quality stroller out there, but I love my single and won't be giving it up so this will be an extra for us. I haven't done all my research yet but it looks really versitile! It can have two toddler seats, a toddler seat and an infant bucket seat (car seat) or one seat and a stand and ride board for an older toddler. So far this seems like it will fit all my needs. It's a cheap stroller and I'm a bit concerned about quality, but I'm not looking for an amazing double stroller so this is the winner for me so far.

24 months is plenty old enough in my opinion! I suppose it depends on your individual child though. I know my step daughter would've been fine with that at that age!
I went to BBB to test out some tandem options and the associate was really passionate about the City Select (like many of the PPs). I found it a little hard to maneuver. Idk if maybe I'm just weak but I struggled. Aesthetically, I liked it more than the others but I'm just worried about trying to control it along with the babies. He said basically the same as the UppaBaby without the UB name.
I tried the Joovy Caboose Varylight and it was much easier to control. I just wasn't a fan of the wheels and the frame seemed a little cheap compared to some of the other models.
It's so overwhelming with all the options out there. BBB is overwhelming in general. It did help bringing LO because she's going to need to like it as much as I do.
Re: I know this is early but.. Double stroller suggestions anyone?
