Welcome OP. High five for being awesome, I hope you stick around.
Re: TGSR, I am hesitant to watch it because I feel like I will lose hope that I'll ever get KU. LOL, I seriously don't know how this happens by accident. It's so much work!

@MRSCORKER Totally, on TGSR. I was pretty worried after seeing it. But it also helped me feel more level-headed (for lack of a better way of putting it) during the TWW.
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
Maybe it's the champagne, but this thread is giving me so many feels. I love when a newbie gets her mea culpa right and everyone rallies to welcome her.
I didn't realize that the board was only for science based trying to conceive and I honestly thought it was just a board for people trying to get pregnant. I'm sincerely sorry I wasn't trying to brag I spent 7 months trying to get pregnant with my second which I can appreciate is not that long but it was still waiting, hoping and disappointment. What would have been a better board to write this in?
I'mma stop you right there.
I'm currently on my 14th month/17th cycle. Can you imagine the waiting, hoping and disappointment I've been experiencing? I know you're not intentionally trying to play the pain Olympics, but that's how it's coming across. Please just stop.
Just apologize and move on. Mostly, lurk to get a feel for the board and for this community.
ETA: I messed up and responded before finishing the rest of the post. I see that you did apologize, and I appreciate that. Welcome to TB!
OK, I'm obviously a newbie because I thought months and cycles were synonymous. Can someone clear this up for me?
Sorry for hijacking the GIF party lol
(I would be putting a gif right here if I wasn't at work and most of my go to sites weren't blocked. Yay for imaginary gifs!)
If your cycles are not exactly 30-31 days like the current month, they can get off balance. For example- i am in my 6th month ttc. Started in early August. But I have long cycles, longer than a month, so I'm currently in my fourth cycle. Waiting for my fourth period. Someone with shorter cycles- even the mythical "28 day cycle", would be the opposite as their cycle is not the same length as the current calendar month.
@bluerose426 Some people have shorter or longer cycles than a month. Those people will have different numbers for those two. If I started trying last December, my months would be 13. If I have 21 day cycles, my cycles would be more like 18.
I am a little late to the party but I have three things
1. Welcome Op 2. Yay for science! 3. I watched TGSR the other day and now I feel like getting pregnant is nearly impossible. Seriously, what if the magic ladders don't descend from my cervix for the sperm people to climb?? I think I was better off not watching lol.

Ok, so is now a good time to dope slap myself? Lol! Don't know why I couldn't figure that out. Thank you!

Edited because I can't count to 3
