Gastro-colic reflex

Anyone else has a LO with a strong gastro-colic reflex? It manifests itself in that he's feeling like pooping when eating. This makes him squirmy, he pulls away forcefully from the breast and then relatches. He used to poop at every feeding and get relief, but now he's spacing them out and giving me a hard time Breastfeeding is a physical struggle and I feel he's not emptying the breasts and thus reducing my supply Any tips for a better experience? I can't find anything useful online.

I formula feed and my baby does the same thing. Everytime she eats she poops and while feeding she's restless and squirms until she lets it all out!
I asked peds and they it's good she has such a well functioning G.I. system . For now we just go with it but often have to distract her while feeding her, lol

Same here. I often find myself nursing and walking around at the same time just to provide some distraction so that he feeds better.
Can't wait for this stage to be over.

My LO only poops while she's eating but it's only about once a day but after she won't eat just look at me I can hear it but after I change her she won't relatch. She sometimes is squirmy during feeding pulls off and screams she is 13 weeks hoping she will adjust better soon
