Anyone else with vivid nightmares???

In my nightmare last night, I literally saw a 15lb baby coming out of my whoha. There was blood everywhere. 15 POUNDS!!!! That's impossible right?! The worst part is that my doctor will not give me an estimated weight so now I'm freaking out that I have a HUGE baby in there!! The nightmares are getting So much worse!! :s

Re: Anyone else with vivid nightmares???

  • Not baby related, but the other night I had a vivid nightmare that I was visiting someone who lived in a trailer park and a huge storm came up and we were surrounded by multiple enormous tornadoes! Woke up sweating and decided to start planning my shelter plan if that would happen here haha even though it's totally unlikely.

  • I keep having nightmares and I never remember them, but I do wake up really shaken up and drowning in my own sweat. It's lovely.

  • ***trigger warning***

I keep having nightmares about a stillbirth and other horrible things and it literally ruins my whole day and I can't get it out of my mind. So ready for my little man to be here in my arms.

  • YES.  Had a fun one the other night that my mother surprised me by bringing my (dead) grandmother and my unstable, alcoholic brother to the birth.  In the dream my brother then tried to stab me and the baby with a giant knife and I woke up shaken, and also really sad and missing my grandma.  Ugh.
  • Not nightmares, but typically I have dreamless nights (or, they feel dreamless... Technically you always dream, right?) and these past few weeks I feel like I have a million dreams crammed in to every night. I've had to ask DH a few times about whether or not something's actually happened because of how vivid they are.
  • Normally nightmares shake me up, like I get stressed when I wake up from one. But, I'm so damn tired that I'll have horrific nightmares and when I wake up I just feel like, eh, good it's still night time and I fall back asleep.

I'm either too stressed already, or too sleepy to care.
  • The other day I dreamed Brody from Homeland was still alive (in the series of course) BECAUSE he'd had mental control all along from season 1... And Carrie had super strength. Been watching Jessica Jones on Netflix and I guess I vividly combined the two. Not crazy, just on my way to creating a new TV show
  • Another one last night: woke up throwing my pillow out of bed because I was trying to throw a rat off my chest that had jumped on me in a dream!

  • Yes! The first few nights after I had my baby, I had horrible, horribly vivid nightmares. The most horrific was watching my 4 year old son playing the backyard from the upstairs window and seeing a Rottweiler come into the yard and start mauling him. All I could do was scream and scream. My husband woke me up. Said I was making terrifying noises. I think it's just a hormonal thing. It passes!
