4 weeks and hungry

I am only four weeks (just found out a few days ago), and I am always hungry. It is normal to feel hungry ALL the time this early??

Ditto to PP, EAT while you still feel like eating. MS kicked in for me around 5.5-6 weeks and I lost a bunch of weight because of food aversions and nausea (doctor is aware and monitoring before anyone says anything). Get some quality nutrition in and hope MS keeps away!

  • Yes. That was one of the first things I noticed.

  • Yes an EAT GIRL! You may have MS kick in sometime in the next few weeks which could make it hard to enjoy some food. Give your body and baby some good nutrients!
  • So glad someone started this conversation! I'm starving all of the time!! I also have terrible food aversions and have been super picky with food!

Yes, it's normal. Make sure you drink a glass of water before you eat. Often the extreme hunger is dehydration talking.

Good to know! I never considered that.

Thank you for posting. I just found out yesterday and I thought something was wrong with me! I have also gained weight over the holidays, so I got groceries today with tons of fresh fruits and veggies. Right now, if I'm not eating, I'm peeing or sleeping.
  • I was starting to think it was just me! I found out we were pregnant just last week and have been starving since before I even found out I was pregnant. I'll eat a big meal with lots of protein and veggies and am supper hungry an hr later! If this keeps up I'm gonna eat us poor! haha. I tried increasing my water intake, but that hasn't seemed to help. I'll just keep eating preparing for the nausea and vomiting!
