Surgery....

So I still haven't been back to work! Last week I had an unexpected surgery because of an abcess that formed after I had my baby. It got infected and they tried treating it with antibiotics and it didn't help so I had to have surgery. I went back to work Tuesday but the wound care doctor said I need to be out another week, it's an open wound. Anyone else ever dealt with this? This is painful and everytime I have a BM I have to take a shower, so it's pretty annoying.

So sorry. Sounds terrible. I haven't dealt with this in particular, but I am still dealing with hemorrhoids from pregnancy/labor. No fun. Hope you feel better soon!

I have a hemorrhoid also, but it's so small and going away. This open wound kind of takes the attention away from it. Hope yours goes away soon.

Oh geeze I've not had to deal with that but I did have surgery 6 weeks after delivery and am also still home. Enjoy this extra time with your little one and get as much rest as you can. Hope you're feeling better soon!
