OMG @Lynnlove28I do not either. I haven't even given it a fair shot, DH and I were going to watch all of the movies over the holidays and go see the new one...never happened.
Another one to add to the mix for anyone who's watched Making a Murderer (if you haven't, it's really good). I'm just not as convinced as everyone else that Steven Avery is innocent...on a related note, Serial Season 2 is starting to bore me, which breaks my heart.
My best friend is trying to plan a vacation and asking my advice. She wants to plan a beach vacation. I hate beach vacations. I get so bored at the beach and feel like I'm wasting money if I'm paying to go somewhere just to lay around most of the time. I get some people go on vacation to relax and do nothing, but that's just not my style.

@Lynnlove28 I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies and I don't plan to--I don't think I'm probably missing too much.
I don't drink and I really don't think it's a big deal--I don't miss it, I'm not curious about what your drink tastes or smells like, etc. People automatically assume I have a drinking problem, which I don't. I think it's ridiculous that it's such a strange thing to so many people that I don't want to take a substance to alter my brain chemistry. Yes, it is possible to be sober and have a good time. No, I really don't care if you drink and will not be judging you if you do while we're hanging out.

This. The documentary was obviously sympathetic to Steven Avery. Granted, I don't think the prosecution proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he was guilty, however, I think this qualifies for a re-trial, not an exoneration.

Noooo, he's totally innocent!!!
I actually watched "Making a Murderer" and then watched "The Jinx" (the Robert Durst documentary) immediately afterwards, and now I would recommend everyone do that. It definitely highlighted the dichotomy of wealth/poverty and how it pertains to our criminal justice system.
@Pepper6@TheTamedShrew I'm not saying he did it, but I agree and my only real opinion is that the state didn't seem to prove anything "beyond a reasonable doubt", so for that reason, he shouldn't have been convicted. It does bring up a lot of interesting questions about how our justice system uses the media to influence potential jurors. That guy was screwed from the beginning because of how much the prosecution released in press conferences...it's one thing to keep the public informed for their own safety, another thing to taint a whole population of potential jurors (I work in PR, I'm sort of obsessed with this whole point).
DH is convinced he's innocent and even signed the petition to the White House (which, at the end of the day, will do nothing since it wasn't a federal conviction - SMH at people and their well-intentioned but misplaced activism)
I definitely want to watch The Jinx - that's next on my list! Maybe we need a "True Life Crime Show" weekly discussion post

I'm half way through the series now. Although it may be biased, watching some of those interrogations, etc. is just shocking (Dassey) especially given their low IQ and socioeconomic status. I'm not sure if he's guilty or not, I have doubts both ways. But given the obvious bias in law enforcement (most shocking to me was when one of them said the DNA in the first case did not convince him Avery didn't do it) I don't think him or Dassey should have been convicted. To me there is way too much reasonable doubt at this point to convict if I was on the jury. To me it seems like there may have been some evidence but then they "helped" it along by acting unethically.
@mrsmd1224, just be prepared to get the major creeps. I'm all about not judging a book by it's cover, but Durst just looks evil to me. It's something in the eyes.
I hate my dogs. I think my distaste for them has gotten worse since getting pregnant. If it weren't for the fact that DH and DS's hearts would shatter, I would be finding them a new home.
@lynnlove28 I think it's the fact that I just get so bored (and sunburnt after awhile). When DH and I plan vacations we pack it full of things and are constantly busy. I take my trips to do things, not relax lol. We went on a beach trip a year ago with my parents. The one day we went deep sea fishing and I had a blast. The rest of the time was just hanging out and I was ready to go.

This may just be an UO in *my house* but -I'm going to make my husband sleep in the guest room tonight. He snored ALL night last night, and I'm beat. For the sake of our marriage, my health and sanity - One of us is moving out of the bedroom for tonight - and it's going to be him.
I don't drink either. Never have. All through college people tried talking me into it. Luckily, DH has zero interest in it either. Beer smells horrible. I tried alcohol removed wine just to see this taste everyone talks about... Eww. So I'll stick to my tasty, non-alcoholic beverages, tyvm!

H's family is big on never sleeping apart, but when H's snoring is so bad I would leave and sleep in the guest room. But now that I am pregnant I just wake him up every time and make him roll over (not as bad when he is on his side). Honestly, the snoring got worse when he gained weight this last year so I am hoping by being obnoxious about it, it will motivate him to loose the weight again!

I miss the separate BFP posts on TTC. I was disappointed to see those didn't happen when I came back. I also miss the pee sticks. I not talking about drive by "am I pregnant" posts. I am talking about when regs got to AW. I also like to see if I can see a line on squinters.
The Jinx was AMAZING, and I loved Making a Murderer too.
My UO is that I hate going to brunch. It's DH's favorite meal to go out to, but it always makes me sleepy for the rest of the day. I'd so much rather go out to a really nice dinner.
I hate how pregnancy language is like talking to a little girl. No, I don't have a baby in my tummy. I haven't had a tummy since I was about 4, when I graduated to a stomach. I also shudder at the word Belly. What I have right now, people, is a zygote in my uterus.
Due with rainbow rainbow rainbow baby on 9/29/17 It's been a long road- Let's just say that!
I hate it when pregnant people act like they're handicapped or deserve special treatment. Sure, I don't feel great, but life goes on. I still have a job and a house and a kid to take care of.
@Raincity I'm the worst about referring to my uterus and stomach to a "tummy"! Haha, I hate that I'm that person.
My UO I'm tired of seeing all of the pyramid scheme junk on facebook. I literally deleted my SIL (we aren't close anyway) because every post all 23 a day are about It Works. I literally can't.

Oh, I have another one. I think people who want to do a home birth are batshit crazy. If something goes wrong, seconds can mean life or death. Why anyone would take that risk to have a "special experience" is beyond me. FWIW, my hospital birth with my son was pretty effing special.
@jacmkelley I can't stand it works! Whenever I see a face book friend start selling it I delete them! I don't care how close we are, I will delete you in a heart beat! No offense intended to those who sell it of course lol.
@jacmkelley Same goes for the people that sell Plexus!! No offense meant at all. But I want to see my friends and families posts on FB, not sale ads repeatedly down my feed.
@Lynnlove28 I like watching trash TV too! I think the worst one I watch is the bachelor. I can't help it. I find it hilarious how everyone is always crying and taking the whole thing so seriously.
@Lynnlove28@alyssajrob22 I have soooo many on my friends list. My SIL had me sell it with her when she first started, I tried it and realized it doesn't work (gasp, no seriously it's complete BS). I felt like it was so wrong of me to sell anything and try to make money off people who have no clue it's worthless. Just not a liar. And when I see others sell it I cringe.
@jacmkelley@Lynnlove28 thank you!! I thought I was the only one. I feel kind of sad because I have a friend who I really think is getting scammed by the whole it works thing. We're not close enough for me to tell her what I think (or, more importantly, for her to listen to me without just getting pissed) but it drives me nuts to see the posts in my feed all day every day.
