I know there have been a couple mentions in passing for freebies, trials, and samples that some of you have managed to get yours hands on but I thought it'd be good to have a thread with all of them in one consolidated place. So far I've only gotten a starter pack of Baby Einstein books, only paid the cost of shipping. But I know there's tons more out there! What stores offer freebies for signing up for their registry? What companies are giving away diapers? Etc. And how'd you get them!?!? Ive committed myself to getting as much free as possible over the next few weeks!
BRUS gives you a lot of free coupons ect. I think this is the registry that got me a few free bottles from Avent and formula samples.
I also order my maternity clothes from Motherhood because a) they are cheap and b) they give a bunch of coupons where you only have to pay shipping. I think I am going to have my birth announcements paid for with the $20 gift cards from Shutterfly.
If you are a member of Amazon Prime, you can create a registry, make a $10 purchase from it and then opt for a welcome box. My welcome box came with a bunch of samples including small bottle of prenatal vitamins, an infant bottle, full package of wipes (we're using with DD) among other things. That's all I've gotten as far as freebies.
If you sign up for the free rewards program at Motherhood Maternity or Pea In A Pod (same company) in-store, they give you a welcome pack that has 2 honest disposable diapers, an Advent Natural 4oz bottle, some lotion samples and a bunch of coupons. I also chose to opt-in for the magazine subscriptions offer and got a 1 year of each of Parents, American Baby and Family Circle magazines for $3 total!

My BRU gave me crap. It was literally a bunch of flyers for the products, one coupon to BRU and the only free samples were a flavored face wipe and a pampers diaper clutch. I signed up for the Amazon registry to get the bo but haven't gotten it yet. Target gave an awesome welcome back. It had tons of coupons and freebies. Also, the Motherhood store has a deal where for $2.99 you get a subscription to like three magazines and you get an advent bottle and some honest co. diapers.
My mom sent me this for a sample box from Walmart. I signed up this morning, you just pay $5 shipping/handling.
Go to breastpads.com and use the code MN10FREEPADS at checkout, gets you 5 packages of reusable breast pads and they're supper cute all you pay is shipping

Just ordered the breast pads! When I checked out it gave promo codes for several free products for some of their partner companies too! Going to hit those up next for sure.
Also, it gives you a promo code to share for $35 off for friends to purchase from them as well, and if u get 5 friends to use the promo code, they refund your shipping Thinking of having a few friends placing an order on my behalf using my promo code and just having them ship to my house. And you were so right @attagirl1113 the prints are adorable!
Just in case anyone is interested in the code for another order for $35 off, enter code 290960E85 at checkout. That's an equivalent of 5 packs (2 pairs per pack).
Honest.Com has a free trial pack of diapers and wipes if you create an account
BE CAREFUL! They will auto-enroll you in a subscription! You can get the free trial and pay $5.95 shipping BUT make sure you cancel it as soon as you get the trial in the mail!!! I was able to get refunded but still...

shtjustgotreal I just used your code! I ordered Baby Leggings a few weeks ago too. They were adorable. It's all the same company. One of them arrived with a hole and the customer service for BL was awesome. I sent a picture of the hole and they sent another pair with no issues. I even got to keep the ones with the hole (the hole is tiny).
On the breastpad website...If you create the account and go all the way to checkout but don't actually pay, you will get a text from a CS rep and they will reduce your shipping price to $11.99! :-)
Thanks for the headsup @yodiggity I didn't complete the process because it was requiring the baby's sex which I don't know yet
I'm not really sure why they ask that. I guess they have "boy" and "girl" trial packs which are just the print colors and designs. I chose girl and while I got a good mix of prints the label read "boy". Weird.
Not exactly free but amzreviewtrader.com is a site where you apply to review products on Amazon in exchange for getting them for free, or heavily discounted. There's a lot of junk on there, but I have been able to review prenatals, bibs, and random housewares and just pay shipping costs.

I am SO glad you mentioned this! I signed up, and found out today that I have been approved to review the Foscam camera we wanted to use as a monitor! Wasn't free, but $100 off (plus free shipping and it will be here tomorrow because we have Prime)! I'll take it, heyo!!
How many breast pads do people need? I was maybe going to do that deal but I didn't know if they were good pads (maybe all brands are about the same?) or if 10 pairs is excessive or not.

I used the disposible ones with DD so I can't say for sure, but I would aim for at least one per day before doing laundry at least until everything regulates. 10 seems about perfect if you do laundry weekly.

Thanks! We signed up for a similar one but a different brand (Amcrest) that still has 4 days to sign up. I won't plan to hear for about a week then so I'm not disappointed

Amcrest has the same founders as Foscam so I'm sure they are very similar! Hope you get picked because that's one heck of a deal!

Yeah the BRUS goody bag was kind of a joke. Mine had even less. Just product flyers and one BRUS coupon I had about a week to use. I'm going to the "registry party" this weekend, hopefully the freebies will be good there! The Target gift bag is definitely worth it.

I was going to do the free baby Einstein bundle thing, but then I read the fine print and they send you stuff and charge your card every month. Might be worth the free bundle of you can get it cancelled right after you get that, but not something I want to mess with.
At the BRU I went to I got the coupons and diaper thing as well, but they also gave me a little cooler bag with a freezer pack and formula samples in it.
Do you know what comes in the newborn Walmart box?
I got my Walmart box yesterday! It had a Munchkin Latch 4oz bottle, a pack of the Daytime/Nighttime (2 tubes) Baby Oralgel (sp?) Naturals, a sample of some natural "Bottle" dish washing liquid soap, a small tube of Aquaphor healing ointment and a tube of Dr. Smiths Diaper rash cream. Definitely worth $5. The Latch bottles are $10 at Walmart and Target.
Thank you for the Amazon Review Trader heads up @Missingchampagne!! I just got selected to review the Eliclaire Baby Carrier Wrap! Only had to pay $10 and it seems VERY similar to the Moby, which I wanted to get for LO anyways. Not only that, but I was selected within about 10 minutes of requesting to review it! This might be addicting!

Same here, it's totally addicting!
I got a diaper bag for $6 and some handkerchief style bibs. This could be dangerous hahaha!
Just wanted to share a couple of the things I got that I only paid shipping on. So far I have breast pads and baby leggings. I have two sets of each pattern on the breast pads; I'm washing them today but they seem to be thick and soft, so hopefully they won't be irritating on the chaffed nipples I'm expecting in the near future. The offer for baby leggings is only for 5 pairs, but I liked 6 and the 6th pair was only $2 because I had already ordered 5. The packaging came with a ton of coupons for things like udder covers and books; I found a blog with the offers at https://serendipityandspice.com/free-stuff-new-moms/
I'm waiting on the diapers, will update when they arrive. I do know that I'll have to cancel a recurring subscription once it arrives so I'm not charged $75/monthly.
I have seen a lot of people mentioning the baby leggings here, but I don't really understand what their function is so I don't know if I need them or not. Do they go with the legless onesies? What is the reason for the baby to wear a legless onesie and baby leggings instead of a legged onesie? Or a shirt and baby pants?
@RoseShadow873 the leggings are mostly to protect their knees when they start crawling around and keep them warm, but since they don't pull up over the baby's bottom you don't have to pull them down to change diapers. Plus, they're pretty cute.
Meant to include photos in my last post but forgot.
I saw some negative reviews about the breastpads.com breast pads so I decided I wasn't going to get any but I am still tempted because I think it's so cool they have a cow print one. Cow print breast pads? Haha!

It's a boy! Grow baby, grow! EDD: 4/22/2016

Yeah my BRU doesn't give anything either other than a coupon for a discount off one registry purchase closer to the due date.
@yodiggity I just signed up for the sample box from walmart. Thanks for the link!
