Happy New Year Aug '16 mommies! How was everyone's NYE?  FTM's - how did you cope?  I sucked it up and went to a concert with my hubby and friends (convinced by the "last hurrah NYE" mentality) and drank plenty of shirley temples and kept skittles in my bag!  It was a lot of fun, but I'm looking forward to spending next NYE snuggled up on the couch with hubs and baby

Happy New Year! Hubby and I went to a friends house with 3 other couples. But I was super nauseous and exhausted so we only stayed until about 10:30. It was the first year not staying up until midnight but we were both tired.

happy new year- this is going to be a super exciting one for all of us!  i fell asleep at 10:30 pm in a hotel room, clutching a candy bar.  my boyfriend and i originally planned to watch fireworks on the beach but the weather was terrible and i gave in to my inner geriatric.  i had no idea he was planning to propose at midnight, and slept right through that opportunity.

We went to dinner with friends and then hung out at their house until midnight. We were home by 12:15 and I was asleep within 10 minutes. NYE just isn't that fun anymore when you have a 6:30am wake up call from your toddler!

We stayed home as we had sick kiddos. We were all sleeping before 11:00pm except my 11 year old daughter and her friend who "counted down" to midnight with some app on the computer lol.

I had an all night youth lock-in at church. It is safe to say, I slept the ENTIRE next day. Happy new years mommies!
