TMI warning...

Last night I went to the bathroom and I had some spotting only when I wiped and it was brown, this morning same thing, I have had no cramping and I know this can be normal but I can't help but worry. I had the same thing with my daughter around the same time so I'm hoping it's nothing... Wondering who's experiencing the same thing...

How far along are you?

Brown spotting is old blood and usually not a cause for concern. I would like your docotor know. Spotting can also happen if you had sex the cervix is very sensitive in early pregnancy.

Sorry I thought I put that in there I'm 6w 2d it's weird because my first pregnancy I spotted when I was 6 weeks because I remember I went to the dr at 7 weeks because it hadn't stopped... It's right around the time I would be ovulating if I wasn't pregnant... Its mixed with dark red too...

I agree, call your doctor and tell them what is going on. If they are concerned they will bring you in. I had spotting off and on for a few days at 5 weeks. It was brown and light pink. I went to the doctor and they checked my hcg and progesterone. Thankfully it all came back good. I haven't had any spotting since and I am 7w3d.

I had a mc in October and that bleeding was completely different. It was more red and the flow increased rather quickly. As long as it does not get worse everything is probably fine. Think happy thoughts!

I started having brown spotting on Christmas Day. Somedays it's still there some days it seems to disappear. I called my OB and she wasnt concerned as long as it's brown and only when I wipe. I have my first ultrasound this afternoon so I'm very anxious about it!

I just had this happen on Thursday, New Year's Eve, I was told to keep my feet up for 48 hours and if it didn't stop to call.  It stopped, thank goodness. Had an U/S today and the little one is strong and doing great.  gOOD LUCK!

Thanks for asking @TerraMae80 Updating: ultrasound went well. Baby is measuring 8 weeks and we got to see the heart beat. They did find a 1cm subchorionic hemorrhage that is the source of my spotting. She didn't seem concerned so I'm trying to not let Dr. Google scare me!

@JEMN I have a subchorionic hemorrhage that's the same size. I've had it nearly the entire pregnancy and I'm 9w 4days. I go on Wed for u/s and check up. I think they can just be there and not mess with anything. I had them with DD as well and had a lot of spotting but she is fine and healthy! Don't worry too much. I think it's scary when they are much larger.

Had some bleeding yesterday. Bright red spotting. Thankfully I was utterly exhausted and and took a 4¼ hour nap. Woke up and all was fine. I think being tired I was more logical than hormonal. I want cramping or in pain so I said, "God, I can't handle this right now. If I'm bleeding when I wake I'll handle it." Later that night I was wiping brown. Called my doctor today, put on 2 days rest, but it was most likely aggitated membranes since my blood levels are growing.
I was proud of myself, after 2 miscarriages in the past 5½ months, I didn't freak out over the blood.
