FTM baby shower coming up this weekend I have no idea what to wear. Since I live in New Jersey sleeveless anything is out of the question. But, I've been so hot so It maybe doable. What did you leaders wear? I need ideas ASAP!!
My shower is next weekend (so excited!) and I will be wearing a short sleeve maxi dress. But I live in Florida so it's hot and I don't have to worry about layering.
My shower is this weekend! I'm wearing boots, blue jeans and a 3/4 sleeve sweater, unless it is hot. I live in south Georgia, so it was 80 degrees last week for Christmas and it is 30 degrees last night and tonight. No telling what it'll be by this weekend! Hoping to be able to wear my sweater tho cause its super cute!
@Cheryl Renee not to be a total creep but I didn't know you lived in Georgia! I live 10 miles north of Atlanta I don't think there are any other regulars in Georgia, even though South Georgia is completely different than North Georgia!

@egraves4 Well how about that! Not creepy! For some reason, Georgia mommies are few and far between on here. I've got a couple brother in laws (and families) in the Atlanta area. Nice to know there's someone else on here from our part of the world!
I feel like at this point.. dressing for comfort is all I care about. I understand that people want to get a little dressed up for the shower though! Mine is in 2 weeks (cutting it a little close) I'll wear some thickish leggings, boots and a long shirt/sweater as a top.
It really depends on the type of shower. Our first shower was casual and outdoors on a Sunday afternoon, with couples our age. The second was an evening cocktail party with ladies I know professionally and through volunteer work. Whether you choose leggings or an LBD, wear comfortable shoes!
My shower was yesterday and I didn't realize until seeing pictures how much my face has changed. Dress is from Pinkblush and I wore knee high brown boots.
I'm from austin tx so this was appropriate for the weather. And we did a coursed dinner with family and couples. So not really a traditional babyshower.
I wish i was dressed up for my shower... It was a complete surprise my mom called me to come over and help bake cookies.... So I went to the gym then took the 90 min drive (we recently just moved 8 months ago so all my family and friends from forever live out there) to her place in spandex and work out tank with a zip up that didn't even zipper over my belly... Had a messy bun and no make up. Oh and my awesome bright color running shoes! Walked into a house filled with about 50-75 people dressed up for breakfast at tiffinies style tea party brunch baby shower..... I was so MAD. I eventually got over it and had a blast.... and was so comfortable.
@JMarie1291 same here, my sister threw me a surprise shower (stm here and I told her I didn't want one...) and I walked in bringing food, no makeup and lazy lounge wear. Ah well, I was comfy at least!
My aunt surprised me with a baby shower yesterday that my husband helped her with. I thought we were dropping the kids off for date night. Lol so this is the only pic I got of myself. I wore a pink bodycon dress (long sleeve) with grey boots.
Re: What did you wear for your baby shower?
I went leggings and a sweater and was warm, but if I had gone with short sleeves I would have been too cold. I'd say go with layers.
