1. How old are you? 38
2. Where do you live? Massachusetts
3. What is your EDD? June 7, 2016
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!) This is my first pregnancy, after finding love and settling down a bit later in life. We started TTC actively on our wedding day (5/30/15), though we were NTNP for a while before that. We got a BFP on 9/28/15 during my 5th cycle of charting. It's been remarkably smooth-sailing since then, and I count my blessings every day.
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home? We have two 10 year-old tabby cats.
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)? I'm an avid outdoorswoman - hiking, backpacking, camping, winter hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking. I'm also a runner but I do that mostly to stay in shape when I can't get myself on top of a mountain. I'm trying very hard to keep these things up during the pregnancy. I'm also a total foodie - I love to cook, bake, and experiment with new things in the kitchen.

2. Where do you live? Minnesota - we FINALLY got snow so I'm hoping to take my daughter out and pull her around in her sled today!
3. What is your EDD? August 29, 2016 - WOW that seems so far away. I know it'll fly by!
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!) My daughter is a Clomid and timed sex baby so I was pretty surprised that #2 didn't happen quickly. We returned to the RE about a month after my period came back and I assumed I'd be pregnant in a couple months. THAT was hard. So, 17 months later, we did our first IVF and were so blessed to have 10 retrieved, 9 fertilized, and 6 made it to 5d blastocysts! My NP says I have the ovaries of a much younger woman. We transferred 2 and froze 4!! We're looking forward to our ultrasound in about a week to see how many babies are in there!! So far, pregnancy is fine. A little nausea, a little acne (improving), and extreme exhaustion!
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home? A 2.5 year old daughter who's the light of my life and LOVES the idea of a little sibling (the reality may be less exciting) and a 10 year old Bichon named Bella who will NOT be pleased to have another baby in the house.
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)? Not a ton of free time (mostly evenings after our daughter is in bed), but I love to read, peruse Pinterest, cook, and binge watch TV shows. My hubby and I take turns choosing a show and then we watch the whole series. Recents include: Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, and Call the Midwife. We also recently watched Star Wars Episodes 4, 5, and 6 because my hubby insisted I needed to watch them before we could go to the new movie. I'm embarrassed to say I've never seen them! He's been chomping at the bit to go see the movie. Hopefully next weekend we can find a babysitter. The rest of my free time is spent doing toddler stuff - art, playing at the park, etc.
I'm also SO EXCITED at the success TTC>35 is having recently. It was a bit of a downer there for a while with NO BFPs or very few. It's really exciting to be graduating with so many great ladies!!

age: just turned 39 a few weeks ago!
we live in TN, hubs is military, originally from the Boston area, should be moving back home in 18 months, loved our last 4 years exploring the south (nc and tn), but so very ready to be back home with friends and family and some kind of 'normal' life! Not so interested in the brutal winters that have happened since I left 4 years ago tho:(
edd: June 6, repeat CS
This pregnancy has gotten much better, first tri was brutal. I kept saying if this is how it was when I was pregnant with my son, we would've had one child. All day nausea, opening the fridge made me gag, full on food aversions, subsisted on pb&j. Finally hungry again, have a ton of energy and feeling good.
I have an 18 month old son, Wyatt, I'm obsessed with him. And have had a guilty conscious about him no longer being the baby or only child. Like @redheadbride15, I met my husband later in life, but I wouldn't change a thing! I can definitely say there is not one thing in life that I wish I had done before getting married and having children.
free time, ha! I'm a sahm, ex elementary teacher. Though my boy is napping now for 3 hours so it's some nice time with the hubs, binge watching homeland:). I love to be active, run, hike, workout daily, though took many breaks during first tri, which was very hard on me mentally. Trying to get back into being active 4-5x's a week. Love to read trashy beach reads, binge watch whole seasons of shows, just finished game of thrones, and I'm going to try and be a better cook. I have like 4 things in my rotation, so boring! If you guys have easy recipes, I'm all ears!
excired to hang with all of you 'older' kickass ladies!!
2. Where do you live? Southern california baby!
3. What is your EDD? September 10th
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!) *loss mentioned* I am a little freaked out that I got pregnant exactly one year after the last time I was KU, and the baby will be due at the same time (sept). I MC the last pregnancy at 8 weeks and I took 6 months after that to heal emotionally, TTCed for 6 cycles and did a whole lotta of experimentation each month with herbs and supplements and such.
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home? We have a furbaby siberian cat. DH is allergic to cats but he is fine with her. We love her to pieces and thus far she has been the center of our world for the past year. I am worried that she is going to struggle when the baby comes with less attention.
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)? I have been watching a lot of netfix lately, and spending time on the couch with my kitten. The heart of winter does that to me (even though it is still high 60's during the day.) I spend too much time on TB and reading articles, blogs and more about TTC and pregnancy. I love yoga and meditation, recently I got an adult coloring book. I want to enjoy my time to be lazy before baby arrives and I may never get to do it in the same way again!
@createillumination Haha New Englander here having a hard type being sympathetic for your southern CA "winter" I've also gotten into adult coloring recently! I have a book of mandalas and just got for Xmas a pack of postcards. It's fun!

2- NY about an hour outside NYC
3- August 2016 we haven't nailed a date down yet.
4-it's been a long journey of over a year. It started last year when I had a chemical pregnancy. We were ready to start again but I was in a car accident which broke my wrist. I had to do a lot of X-rays and was out for 6 weeks from work. So we had to put ttc on hold or else I wouldn't qualify for FMLA.
5- hubby and I have an almost 5 year old son and a 6 year old female gsd/malamute/husky mix.
6- I work full time so free time is rare. I spend a lot of that sleeping. I don't know why but I'm freaking exhausted all the time. But hubby got me an amazing camera for Christmas so I'm playing with that a lot.
2. Where do you live? Northern New England
3. What is your EDD? August 28 based on O date
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!) We started ttc #2 in February and I found out I was pregnant in June only to lose the pregnancy at 8 wks. I took the loss pretty hard, but we got right back on the TTC bandwagon and I got my bfp just a couple weeks ago, just after I had finally relaxed and started to accept that we might be one and done (isn't that always the way...)
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home? one son who will be 3 in a couple of months and a large, lazy 9 year old dog
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)? i'm also a working mama and so it's challenging to find a lot of free time. I love yoga but haven't been able to practice as much as I used to due to work schedule/having a toddler. I also enjoy hiking, cross country skiing, walking and being outdoors in general. I love to read, although I only really get a chance for about 20 min. or so at night before I hit the pillow these days. And DP and I are big into binge watching shows too. We're currently re-watching Friday Night Lights and Downtown Abbey is coming up soon!

2. Where do you live?
Western Pennsylvania
3. What is your EDD?
May 20, 2016
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!)
My DH was positive we were done having kids but I held out hope that he would change his mind. After stopping the pill (due to irregular bleeding), we used charting (and the contraceptive sponge) to prevent for about four months. Finally, he was on board and we conceived right away! I've had a relatively easy pregnancy (so far) and I'm a tad sad it's going so fast...
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home?
We have a four year old DS and two year old DD. We also have a seven year old yellow lab named Apache.
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)?
I love to crochet, sew and craft just about anything. I've been busy making baby items since we found out we are having a baby girl- so excited!
1. How old are you? 41 (as of two weeks ago!)
2. Where do you live? Nebraska
3. What is your EDD? 9/12/16 (based on LMP)
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!)
Well, we've been trying to get pregnant with #2 for exactly a year! With our first, we got pregnant as soon as we started trying, so when we started TTC in 12/14, we thought it would be the same. Turns out, not so much. It has been a trying year, but also one of growth. As hard as it has been, I feel convinced that God knows best. If I had gotten what I had wanted, I would have a 21mo old and a 4 month old. And I'm not sure how I would be handling that and working full time, mostly from home while watching them. Now LO will be 29 mo when this one comes and I think the spacing will be great. This pregnancy is the best belated bday and Christmas present I could ever ask for!
6. Do you have other children or fur babies at home?
Yep! We have a 21 mo old son who we adore. I am looking forward to spending the next 9 mo enjoying the remainder of our solo time with him, and preparing him to rock being a big brother! We also have a 10 year old cat.
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)?
Not much of that to be found--except at 3 am--but I love to read. DH and I also love to work our way through series on Amazon prime. Right now it's The Anericans. I love to be outside whenever possible, so LO and I do lots of long walks when the weather is nice. My challenge for the winter is to still get us outside and moving, even when it is frigid!
PS--add me to the Connie Britton fan club! I even suffered through a season in American Horror Story (I don't do horror) just because she was in it. I want to be Tammy Taylor when I grow up.
how old sre you? 35, 36 in April
where do you live? eastern Ma
EDD July 6, 2016
This is my first pregnancy and from what the midwife tells me everything is normal so far. I am definitely having insomnia, but at least morning sickness is mostly gone and I have the desire to cook again!
I love doing things outdoors but have had a bunch of injuries lately and have been taking it easy. I also love gaming (been revisiting classic Nintendo after Christmas) and cooking. I have 2 English mastiffs who I adore and who we are preparing for our addition. Up unyil now, they have been our big fur babies! DH and I also love to travel and hope that we can continue to do some of that even after LO is born, we'll see tho! Any advice on things or any strategies you all know of to make travelling with an infant easier?
I am looking forward to leaving work to be a SAHM for at least a while.... I haven't told anyone I work with and already have "senioritis."
I'm excited and scared for all the changes coming!
2. Where do you live? Midwest
3. What is your EDD? September 15, 2016
4. Tell us about your pregnancy and TTC journey (whatever you feel comfortable with!) I have a DS (8 yo) and a DD (6 yo). I wanted a third, but my DH wasn't on board. I became unexpectedly pregnant in April and when I had a miscarriage, my DH was disappointed and was asking for #3. We got pregnant our second month using 150 mg of Clomid since I have PCOS. We are very fortunate and now I'm just hoping baby sticks!
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home? Son, daughter and naughty black lab!
2. Where do you live? SW Florida
3. What is your EDD? July 30th
4. Tell us about your TTC journey: I started TTC in January, got pg in February, which resulted in a MMC and a D&E in April. Got pg again in late August which resulted in a chemical pregnancy. My current baby was magically conceived in the one time I was able to convince DH to have sex while his mother was visiting. I have a disturbing urge to tell her that, but I fight it. There's something about having a secret that makes me want to yell it.
5. Do you have other children or fur babies at home? Two cats. A small gray one and a big, fat orange one. The fat one is currently taking up all of the desk space in front of my computer.
6. What do you like to do in your free time (if you have any these days)? If I had energy and mental focus, draw and paint. But honestly, watch tv and read.
BFP 2/19/15 • MMC found at 9 wks • D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
BFP 8/29/15 • CP (age 37)
TTC#2 since May 2017
BFP 10/18/17 • MMC found at 8 wks • Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
BFP 2/16/18 • CP (age 39)
BFP 4/13/18 • CP (age 39)
BFP 5/07/18 • MMC found at 10.5 wks • D&E at 11.5 wks • Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
BFP 9/24/18 • CP (age 40)
1. How old are you! 37
2. Ontario, Canada
3. EDD? July 26 or 27, I can't remember what the doctor said... Pregnancy brain already?
4. Tell us about your trying to conceive journey? Loss mentioned.. We decide to TTC in Spring 2014. I went to my doctor in May 2015 to have my IUD removed. He couldn't find the strings and wanted an US. In Canada our health care is free but there are long waits for non urgent care depending on where you live. The US took 2 months, then another 4 month wait to see an OB\GYN. As a TTC after 35 I felt every moment of delay. In November 2014 IUD finally out. Then MMC at Easter, with a D&C three weeks later. Finally BFP in late October 2015, just when I too thought we might have to move forward.
5. Other children or for babies? I have a 5 year old son and my daughter just turned three.
6. What do you like to do in your spare time? Right now sleep and eat:). I also go to the gym 3 x/week (lately that is challenging to keep going) I am taking an adult tap/jazz dance class, we snowshoe as a family and like to home camp and kayak in the summer.
