That's going to be our girl's name, though we're deciding on the middle name.  I think Avery hasn't been overused either.  Good choice!

I'm more a fan of feminine names for a girl, but I really like it for a boy:) That said, I think it's more of just getting used to it for a girl. It's a nice name regardless.

I work in the nursery at church and we have four Avery's under 6mo. That alone would keep me away from the name. I think it's beautiful, but too over done.

And it might be a regional thing... I'm in Oklahoma.
