Pacifier

lord somebody help lol, I need to tips for the appropriate age to wing my 9 month old off this pacifier. I feel like I need to do it right now. A few days ago it got lost when we were out and she just cried and cried. That's what consoles her when she is sleepy that's mostly when she uses the thing. She was still making the suckling face when it was gone. I feel their will be some long nights ahead of me by taking it away

    No great tips for you, sadly, but I can say that mine got over his pacifier reliance when we did cry it out. Once he figured out how to self-sooth (aka suck his thumb) he really doesn't seem to need the pacifier anymore. Good luck to you!

    I have heard to cut the tip of the baby pacifier off and they will start to lose interest
