2) what's gone well?what's been difficult?
I've worked out 3 days In a row so far woohoo! I finally did a 5k again granted it was at a slower pace than normal due to exhaustion and body recovering but it felt great. Still struggling to push through since I sometimes have zero energy.
3) are you noticing any changes? I am continuing to lose weight. I'm finally almost in the 160's again. I know I'm big but I've been working hard and it's exciting to know I'm on the right track. I continue to check in with my dr but she agrees I'm healthy and even told me she was proud of me for maintaining healthy weight !
4) questions? Anyone else struggling with the pelvic/hip pain and it's affecting working primarily cardio ? What have you found to be helpful?
2. What's gone well? What's been difficult? I love dancing now and hope Zumba and barre can sustain me for a while. Jogging is getting more difficult and I'm definitely not getting a 10min mile anymore so that's a bummer. Prenatal yoga sucked and isn't exercise in my opinion. Maybe at 9 months but I'm going to keep doing cobra and twists as long as I want, and continue calling it stretching. No sweat= just a light stretch, I burn more calories going to the mailbox.
3. Are you noticing any changes? Yeah my big ol belly just gets bigger every day, though I know comparatively it's small still it feels really big already, and I'm out of breath way before my body is tired which is a weird and stupid sensation that makes exercise confusing- should I stop or push through? I need consistent signals!
4. No questions. @Lindsayleigh1989 I've been having some hip pain but I do have an old injury on the right side. I do mobility exercise with bands and some silly Jane Fonda leg raises to keep the joint strong and tight. The newfound flexibility opens the hips up to injury so I'm trying to keep movements very controlled.
2) what's gone well?what's been difficult? I think the reason I lost my momentum was because I was just so tired and working out had become such a chore. Also, my breasts hurt SO BAD and working out was really uncomfortable. Even just the bouncing from walking was hurting! My workout yesterday actually felt pretty good, though, so I'm hoping maybe that tenderness is starting to subside. If not, I'm going to need to triple up on sports bras!
3) are you noticing any changes? I had done a pretty good job of maintaining my weight for the first 10 weeks, and the holidays have definitely blown that. I haven't stepped on the scale in a few weeks and I don't plan to until I've been back in my healthy eating/workout routine for a week or so. I have my 14 week appointment next Thursday, so I suppose I need to lose a few of these holiday pounds before then unless I want to face my doctor with what could quite possibly be a 10 lb weight gain since my last appointment.....
4) questions? Nope! Hope everyone has a fantastic New Year sipping sparkling grape juice!!
2) what's gone well?what's been difficult? Dogs are very happy with all the walks they are getting. I get short of breath a lot which is frustrating. Have to remember to just go slow....it's still work if it's tiring right?
3) are you noticing any changes? My belly feels huge for 10 weeks. Pretty sure it's mostly bloat as I haven't gained any weight. My arms look pregnant too which is less than fun. dumbells anyone?
4) questions? How are any of you running??? My boobs hurt just thinking about it!
