Should I be worried about baby being behind??

Son doesn't have teeth yet and part of me is happy because I love his gummy smile but the other part of me is worried because it seems too long to go without a single tooth! He also doesn't crawl with his stomach off the floor (he can but he doesn't like to) and he refuses finger foods. Anyone else have the same concern with their little?

I previously posted that I felt like my baby was behind, as well. She didn't get a tooth until about a month ago and now has 4 that have cut through, it really felt like it happened all at once. My baby has made some progress crawling recently, but definitely isn't as mobile as most babies her age. She doesn't pull up to stand or anything like that. It's very normal to question your baby's growth and worry about them! I just keep reminding myself that she is making some progress and all babies are different. I know how you feel!

Definitely do not be worried! My 9 month old daughter is very advanced for her age. She has 6 teeth already, she has been crawling for Maybe 3 months now and also pulls herself up, stands and tries to walk. A friend of mine had her little boy 2 days before my DD was born and it seemed like he was massively behind my daughter! 2 weeks later I went to see them and he had gotten 4 teeth and was army crawling! He's also now standing on his own. They all take different lengths of time to take big steps but just note that your son is most probably progressing every day. He will be off like a rocket, biting everything in his path and munching his way through life in no time! Just be thankful for the peace and not running around like a headless chicken haha

Sometimes I feel like my daughter is behind because she won't pull herself up and stand unless she is holding my hands. She will walk that way but I figured out she can do these things but refuses to do them. So I'm not sure what she can and can't do right now
