Moving to Alaska

Any tips? Places to avoid, places that are family friendly? We currently live in NC but are looking to move to Alaska soon. Also due with baby #2 in July!

    It depends where in Alaska you're moving to.  We moved to Fairbanks from South Carolina, and it was quite an adjustment but we love it. It's very community oriented but it's super tiny. Anchorage is like any other lower 48 city in regards to shopping and amenities. I'm due in July as well.
