My DS is almost six months old, and I'm looking forward to starting a couch to 5k jogging program. I only have a budget of $120 and most in the price range have a lot of reviews saying to not jog with them often. I'm hoping to get a recommendation for a stroller in my price range that can handle jogging at least three days per week. Thanks for your help!
I think it might be hard to find a stroller that can handle it for your budget, unfortunately. I got a "budget" jogging stroller (Joovy Zoom 360) for $250 or so and even it has a lot of wheel wobble issues. If anything, I'd recommend checking out Craigslist or consignment stores in your area to see if you can find a used Bob - if I could go back and buy a different jogger, that's what I would've/should've gone with. Might even replace my Joovy with one for baby #3....
Sorry I'm a FTM so I don't have any recommendations but I'm looking for a jogging stroller recommendation that the Key Fit 30 car seat can fit into. Anyone have any suggestions ? I was going to post my own thread but I saw this and thought I'd try here first. Thanks in advanced
I'm a little late, but I totally agree with the baby trend expedition. I think I paid $99 at Walmart and used it for the C25k program. My daughter and I both loved it! And a bonus, she'd always fall aslee in it
I LOVE my BOB. I'm not a big runner, but I still think it was totally worth it. I got mine brand new off another mom in a local resale page. She hadn't opened the box yet. The resale FB group always have lots of opportunities for big discounts
We have a Baby Trend Expedition jogging stroller as well, have been using it for the whole time and even last wednesday with my now (giant) 4 year old. We have the ones with the speakers built in (awesome!) only down side is you have to lock the front wheel to run, which makes steering tricky. Its a great budget solution and once you get used to it!
I have the baby trend manta and love it! Think it's $160 at target, but if you have a registry there you can get 15% off. I'm not a big runner but we walk A LOT, like up to 15 miles daily. The seat can be forward or rear facing, or a bassinet. It is also compatible with a snap gear car seat which is handy! Of course there are a few changes would make if I could, but overall it's a great jogger for the price point!
Re: Jogging stroller recommendations
For the $120 budget have you checked out the Baby Trend jogger or Schwinn? I can't be sure but I think they're less expensive than the BOB.
