7weeks and bleeding

Im 7 weeks pregnant and started bleeding during sex last night. Ive read that it can be common due to all the blood rushing to the cervix during pregnancy but it has really unnerved me. Couldn't get a doctors appointment till after the new year so took another test and still BFP.
Anyone else experienced anything similar? Is this really a common thing or should i be worried?

It's common. Watch it. If it becomes heavy bright red and you have strong cramps, call your doctor. FWIW, I had my first prenatal appointment yesterday and was told to avoid sex for a week after experiencing bleeding. I know some women who bleed every time they have sex though due to having a friable cervix.

I agree with pp. As long as you're not experiencing cramps and/or heavy bleeding, I'd say relax. Plenty of women become very sensitive. Of course, it's always better to check with your doctor to make sure. I'd lay off having anymore sexual activity until you see your doc. FX for you.

I don't know if that's normal but you will have a positive pregnancy test for weeks even if you had a miscarriage. The hormones don't leave your body immediately.
