Extreme Nauseau

Have any of you started experiencing morning sickness all day?? Mine started about 6 weeks. I'm nearing the beginning of the 7 th week and it's so bad

Re: Extreme Nauseau

  • I'm sorry!  I've been feeling pretty bad too, not horrible though, just bad. ha ha

I ordered Preggie Pop Drops on amazon as well as gin gin ginger hard candies. The Preggie Pops seem to help a bit. You can also try accupressure sea bands. I find that if I let myself get hungry it's hard to recover from the nausea so try snacking frequently and have something like trail mix by the bed you can eat before you get up in the AM.

  • Acupressure sea bands have helped me solo much. I just wear them for a few hours every day. Huge difference. Plus I always make sure to drink extra water if I feel kinda sick. Usually that helps too. With my DD, I was way sick for weeks, but it stopped suddenly one day around 11-12 weeks. So far, its been annoying more so, and lasts all day. Try switching your prenatals too. I got super sick on the ones the doctor gave me and switched to gummies from the store. That helped me as well. Good luck, and remember it gets better!

I was like that at first. It seems to be slowing down to where I only throw up in the evening now. Advice collected from my girlfriends and doctor

    1. Stay hydrated. I've been drinking 4-6 bottles of water during the work day, it seems to have helped

    2. Put your feet up, if you can.

    3. Vitamin b-6

    4. Follow your cravings, don't eat what you feel like you "Should."

Ex. I had three glasses of milk for dinner the other night. I hate milk, but all I wanted that night was milk. I kept it down, and dinner has been a tough one to do that recently. I even felt better a couple hours later and was able to eat some "real food" - forcing yourself to eat something you absolutely want nothing to do with will just make it bounce.

Mine started around week 4 (was actually one of the first signs for me) and is just now starting to ease up a little.

  • I have morning sickness as well. I thought about Zofran, but learned it is linked to birth defects.
  • I had severe nausea that was causing me to call off work because I couldn't even stand up. I asked my doctor for help and was prescribed Diclegis. It took a couple of days to kick in, but now I am doing MUCH better. Am able to eat, go to work, no longer losing weight. I still have mild nausea, but am at least able to function.
  • Mine started at 6 weeks. The fatigue is my worst symptom though. If I remember correctly with my last pregnancy, I was only sick until 10 weeks or so.
