TRYING TO FIGURE OUT DUE DATE

Hello everyone can someone tell me if I had sex August 24 2015 on what days could I have gotten pregnant And does April 26-29 2016 sound like a accurate due date? Or am i further along?

Hi. This looks like your first post. Based on your dates that you have provided, it seems highly unlikely that you are due in April and seems more probable you are due in May. I would highly suggest at this point that you go by the date your doctor provides.

Have to agree. I ovulated August 9, had sex same day. LMP July 25th and my due date is April 30th. Unless your baby grows twice as fast as a normal baby, your due date is more than likely May.

Also will be difficult to tell if you either don't know your LMP and/or you don't know your window of ovulation. There are a lot of missing variables here. Hopefully you know your LMP because providers typically base your EDD off of that date in your early stages of pregnancy. It isn't until much later in pregnancy that an ultrasound will give more accurate readings.

Alsoalso, have you not had an ultrasound yet? Some providers have a "dating" ultrasound during your first trimester that will give an EDD. Some base off LMP as mentioned above and you have your first ultrasound at 20 weeks.

Conception could have happened up to about five days after you had sex. Even if you concieved on the August date, you'd be due about May 16th or later. The best person to ask would be your doctor, who should be able to give you a better approximation. To get an April 26th due date, you would have had to conceive around August 4th.

Everyone is different. I just had my follow up appointment from my A/S yesterday and my OB changed my DD from April 27 to May 2. Technically I was "supposed" to ovulate on August 5th making my due date in late April....so if you're thinking you ovulated August 24 then you are definitely going to be due in May.

I just don't understand why this question is being asked in an internet forum instead of your doctor. They have the necessary equipment and technology available to help you. Based on your dates you'd be due sometime in May.

I agree with pps: ask your doctor. Usually they tell you during the ultrasound what your due date should be with the measurements of the baby.

Ditto everyone. I didn't have a LMP as I took out the IUD and had no period. So I had a dating ultrasound and they gave me a EDD of May 7th which would be a conception date of around August 15th. You're likely due in May. But I'd ask your doctor.

There are also plenty of online calendars you can try if you want to get an estimation in your own.

You shouldn't be due in April, and I don't think you're further along.  
You should really be asking a Doctor these questions.  An ultrasound would be able to give you an accurate estimated due date, not us.
