I'm still nursing my 18 mo. I am kinda hoping to go until 2 years, which would give me 2 months of baby free boobs... But I'm also not opposed to tandem. Thoughts? Plans?
I am nursing my one year old. If the sensation stays the same when he nurses I can last through the pregnancy, but if it gets like it did with my daughter during his pregnancy I will wean. I would like to tandem so that he gets a full two years, but my sanity is more important.
I'm still nursing me 20 month old. I started a thread a couple days ago about nursing adversions. I went and bought nipple cream to help ease some of the discomfort. I want to make it to 2 yrs at least, and not opposed to tandem. But I'll be okay if she weans herself if I dry up at some point during pregnancy.
My dd is just over two and she would nurse every morning if she could. We probably still have two or three sessions a week. I think she will wean before August though.

I didn't even think about that... My nipples hurt SO BAD during my first pregnancy. This may have to end.
Im still nursing my 12 mo old, I want to wean her off, but Its so hard. how do you wean a child that already knows where the goods are and will not take the Sippy cup?
@possitivethoughts I had to go through several types of sippy cup before LO would find one she liked. She prefers straw cups, and still won't drink from others. I guess thats the only tip I would have. Does he/she go to daycare?

Thanks for the advice @texasmama2014, she does go to daycare and she has no problem taking the cup there. she just acts up when shes with me... and of course, I just give in and nurse her. that's how she falls asleep at night. I have tried placing her in her crib with her cup .. but all she does is cry and cry and calls for me, and it just breaks my heart. I haven't had any problems with the nursing, or feeling any discomfort yet.. but I still would love to have a break from nursing before the LO arrives next year.

Yeah, my girl will take water from a cup, or whatever else (smoothie, milk) even if I'm there, but there is no substitute for "boob" when falling asleep, night, or early morning feeds.
My DD was a total milk baby to. We had to let her know big kids don't drink Mommy milk. Now that she is almost 4, she doesn't try to sneak my milk (latch on when I'm changing or asleep) as much as when I first started weaning her at 3.
Re: Anyone still nursing?
edit: autocorrect changed dd to dad. Awkward
