Moms with Eczema...

My face is a hot mess right now. With ds it went away but the psoriasis on my scalp did not. Anyone use any non-medicated creams during their pregnancies? My friend just told me about Derma E Psorzema cream at Whole Foods.
Married: 1/7/15
DS: 1/27/15
BFP: 12/10/15
EDD: 8/14, but will go for c-section 8/7

Re: Moms with Eczema...

  • I was using some coconut oil with essential oils but that didn't cut it. My legs were an itchy hot mess. I use Soothe by R+F now because I had it on hand and it helped. Also tried some stuff I found at Trader Joe's and that gave me a bit of relief, but it didn't last.

  • I've heard good things about CeraVe. I picked some up at Costco recently and have been really liking it. It's not greasy and doesn't clog your pores.
  • Cetaphil on my arms and legs.

    Cortisone on my face.
  • I have eczema, and my doctor approved my usual topical steroid cream for use during pregnancy. I can understand the urge to avoid medicine if possible, but if a medicine is safe and will make you more comfortable, it's worth thinking about. Have you asked your doctor about solutions?
