This Is Goodbye **TW-Loss**

I started spotting last night around 8:00pm with full heavy red flow at about 3:00am. This was our first pregnancy and first loss at just over 5 weeks. I haven't called my OB yet because I they are closed over the weekend and I know I won't get a hold of anyone until tomorrow, but there is no doubt in my mind that we lost our little one. Thank you ladies for the support.

ETA: Should I be going to the hospital instead of waiting to contact my OB tomorrow? I am very new to all of this...

    I would wait till you see your doctor.  I had very heavy bleeding during weeks 5 and 6, and went on to see the heartbeat.  Now am 7wks 2 days.    Did you have a lot of cramping?  Wishing you the best and try to stay positive until your doctor can confirm!

    12/2315- U/S measuring 8 weeks, released from RE !  
    1/5/2016-  U/S measuring 10 wks/5 days, heard the heartbeat!

    My previous early mc the positive pregnancy test faded away as hcg levels dropped.  (@ 5.5 weeks).   And it was my first pregnancy.  If you are still testing positive def see your ob.  If not then it will be like a super heavy period as things dissipate.  hoping best for you!

    yes it is scary....    And it sucks hardcore if it does happen and it will take you a while to get out of the funk.  But there is lots of support here, many of us ladies have been through the same thing and have gone on to  have successful pregnancies.  T&p!!

    I'm so sorry for your loss. When I had mine, I was told to go to the hospital if I filled more than one pad in an hour or experienced excruciating pain. So if you experience those symptoms, then yes, I would go to the hospital. But for the most part, your body knows what to do.

    So sorry for your loss. As PP mentioned, the only reason to go to the hospital would be if you are filling more than one pad per hour (very heavy bleeding).

    I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our first around 6 weeks, back in May. It is tough but you'll make it through. Stay strong and know it is very common.

    So sorry for your loss. Our first loss was incredibly scary and I also didn't know what to do but went to the er for peace of mind. Thoughts and prayers and strength your way!

    I'm sorry for your loss.

    I had a CP in Sept and all my doctor did was do a beta draw to confirm numbers were decreasing. Unless you are bleeding very heavily (more than a pad an hour) or having severe pain, there's nothing the ER can do for you (unfortunately) so I'd just wait and call your doctor.

    I wouldn't go to the ER unless you fill a pad in an hour... I paid 700 for them to not even tell me what I already knew. They just told me to go to my oB the next day.
    I had a natural miscarriage and it was what I would call excruciating pain. I'm not telling you that to scare you .. No one told me that and I remember thinking my body wasn't working properly but apparently that can be very normal. Had I known that I don't think I would have been as scared as it was happening. I was around 11 weeks though and baby was 9 wks. I'm praying everything goes smoothly for you.
