Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: just looking forward to my US Tuesday.

Questions? I have one question, my hcg Friday was 666, if it keeps doubling like it has been then I would be close to the 2600 range. I'll only be 4w4d, will I be able to see anything on a intravaginal US?

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? I hope to pass along the tradition we used to do every Sunday. We used to have family and friends over every Sunday and take turns hosting and cooking dinner. We would have dinner then play card/board games and just enjoy each other's company

How are you feeling? Pretty good other than waking up every 4 hours or so.

Doing anything baby related today? Getting a stretchy bra or two at Target. My boobs need some relief from my normal underwrite bras!

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: so excited to see my family this week when we will tell them!

Questions? @kcolly32 likely not, but it might be possible. That early it is normal not to even see a sac. My Dr doesn't like to do USs earlier than 6 1/2 weeks because if you don't see anything it might stress the parents out when really it is normal not to see much before then.

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived?
We have started taking my niece and nephew to do stuff for their birthdays and Christmas gifts (to a museum, a play, a kids concert, etc.) I'd like to do the same with our LO and hope that they will appreciate the experiences more than getting stuff!

How are you feeling?  Tired but can't sleep, looks like I'm not alone!  Dizzy if I stand too quickly or don't eat every 2 hours on the button.  Same old stuff.  But good overall.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: It's almost Christmas!!!  I can't wait to tell my dad, I feel bad he is the only grandparent who doesn't know yet but I also think he is going to be so excited on Christmas!  I'm sort of nervous he may cry!

How are you feeling? Tired today, my boobs were killing me so much yesterday I had  to put on a sports bra in order to feel better, and I also had some slight cramping off and on too

Doing anything baby related today? Taking my 5w bump pic when OH gets home from work, also need to do some last minute shopping so maybe I'll creep the baby section

How are you feeling? Pretty good so far today. I'm counting down to our next US on Thursday!

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: DH has to work again today, but he doesn't have to go in until noon, so spending the morning together is awesome! Feeling antsy about telling all our families on Christmas. DH is ready, I think I'll be ready... in about 8 1/2 months.

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? Uhm... looking forward to eventually teaching them to ride horses, and about farm life in general. Now we just need to move back to the country in the meantime.:)

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? New PJ'S and a Christmas book the night of Christmas Eve. Also picking out a new ornament every year to signify something that has happened in the past year.

@AL_TwinCities the only reason I'm getting an US is because I had corpus luteum cyst rupture last week so it's a follow up. I read that with a hcg>1500 you can see a gestational sac on an intravaginal US but like I said it so early so I wasn't sure how that worked.

How are you feeling? I'm feeling really good today but I know it's just because I'm having a lazy morning. My MS always kicks in when I start moving around a lot.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I went to a holiday party last night and was up until 1:30 am! I felt like a rockstar since I haven't been up past 10 in weeks. I carried around the same can of beer all night and no one seemed to notice but I can't wait to not have to pretend anymore.

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? I'm stealing this tradition from a friend -- every Christmas, her mom bought her a special ornament so when she grew up and had her own tree, she had a whole bunch of ornaments with special meaning to hang on her tree. I thought that was sweet and a great way to take home with you wherever you live. (And now I'm teary thinking about my baby moving away from home -- before I've even had my first US!)

How are you feeling? ok this morning. Yesterday I got really woozy/nauseated in the shower--freaked out my husband! He made me get in bed while he hung new curtains and cleaned. What a guy!

I'm not sure. My husband and I will only have been married 2 years when baby arrives, and we are about to move to a new state, so we haven't completely figured out how we will do holidays or what traditions we will have. We do love to travel, though, so I look forward to going on vacations with him/her.

Hi @kcolly32 my experience so far, I wouldn't expect to see anything, maybe the gestational sac.  I have had 4 U/S already, I am an IVF mama, and my first two there was nothing, but the sac, that was 5 wk 3 days, then went back at 6 wks and saw the heartbeat!  So just be positive and not to worried if you don't see a lot so early. Lots can change within a few days!!

How are you feeling? Sore boobs. Last night I had a major dizzy spell and got nauseous and I've been getting headaches the past couple days. Also, the nausea thing has been randomly occurring throughout the day the past couple days. I'm worried that MS is about to kick in. We'll see.

Doing anything baby related today? The Bump.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I ended up freaking out last night out of no where. It's like it all the sudden it hit me that I'm pregnant (hopefully viably this time) and I'm going to have to give birth and raise a child. Yes, it's what I've been wanting for a long time now and I knew everything and prepared myself before we started TTC. I guess it's just starting to feel more real now. I'm really hoping I make a good mother and am able to adapt to this huge life change that's going to happen in a few months. I hope other women feel this way for their first as well. Otherwise I feel horrible for being nervous. At the same time though, I'm so excited and can't wait to meet him or her.

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? When I was really young, I asked my parents if we could have a picnic on the floor while we watched "It's A Wonderful Life" on Christmas Eve. My parents and I thought of all these great finger foods we can eat, and we've done it every year since. Of course the foods have become less cheese and crackers and more gourmet. I hope to continue this tradition with my child.

How are you feeling? Actually remarkably well. No nausea, my sinuses cleared up just some lower back pain but that's been most my life.

Doing anything baby related today? Nope! Well maybe some BRU website stalking or second child blog stalking.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: had to go in on Friday for repeat betas, Doctor said he would call with results and still no call. Ugh! If you say you're going to do something then do it!!!! At 4w2d we went in and because of my HR status our Doctor does US at every appointment. She said she was new and then told me she didn't find anything. Went and got the doctor. He didn't re-US just looked at hers and said my uterus is thickening come back ever 48 hours for betas. Could be a million things. WTF!!!

Questions? Anyone go in for an US and have the tech not see anything?

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? We measure DD1 on the front door molding every six months, we want to do that with this one too. Each in a different color maybe.

Doing anything baby related today? Telling my parents and siblings! My sister and niece live with my parents, and they invited us over to help decorate the Christmas tree so I convinced DH it was a great excuse to give them the ornament we bought to tell them! I'm so excited to be able to ask my sister questions!

How far along are you? 4 weeks exactly. 

How are you feeling? Exhausted. Slightly nauseated. So tired. 

Doing anything baby related today?  Kind of! We saw my Lyme specialist to discuss this surprise pregnancy. I have Lyme Neuroborreliosis and was about to start treatment, so this is a complicated situation. Still happy though! 

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:  I had a loss 2 months ago at 6w 3 d. For that pregnancy I felt no symptoms, so while it sucks to already feel so tired and nauseated at 4 weeks, it's reassuring.

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? Reading reading reading reading!! I am a writer and my husband hates to read and write, so we consider this a battle for our baby's soul!! lol!

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Super bloated and nauseous off and on, but with all my other pregnancies I've started barfinf before the pee stick was even dry. Trying to enjoy this and not read too much into it.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: rant: DH family is making him feel guilty that we aren't coming over on Christmas Day. We started doing Christmas Eve with his family and Christmas Day with mine to prevent running around and not actually getting to enjoy the holiday. It's been like this for 2 years, don't get pouty now, they could always come see us!

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived? every year around the holidays as a kid my parents would take us to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter and would have us help out, mostly fed them a meal whether it be thanksgiving or Christmas Eve. Once my kids are old enough I want to do this. I think it helps keep you humble and taught my siblings and I great lessons.

How are you feeling? Blah. Bloated and gassy. Yuck.

Doing anything baby related today? Not really. Bumping, brainstorming names, and peeing a lot.

Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: We'll be traveling to visit family for the holidays. We leave town on Tuesday, and we'll be gone almost a week. I have so much to get ready before we can go, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Sigh. Just gonna have to take it a day at a time.

GTKY- What is a tradition you hope to start with your little once they've arrived?

This won't be until our kids are a little older, but we plan to continue this tradition from my husband's family. A few times a year each kid would be granted a "Night Out" with the parent of their choice. The kid and parent go out together usually to a restaurant, but sometimes bowling or a movie or whatever sounds fun. That kid gets one on one time with the parent without competing with their sibling(s) for attention. I think it will really help foster a great relationship with our kids!

Doing anything baby related? I ended up telling a couple of friends today. I know your "supposed" to wait, but I read an article last night that really convicted me about celebrating life... Even if it's a little life that isn't quite 6 weeks old.

Rants/raves: for the most park none. I know I've l been more irritable lately so I'm ranting against myself. Definitely don't like that feeling!

Gtky: we went to a live Christmas nativity last night with DS so I'd like to continue it!
