Wasn't sure where else to post this. Everything is fine with me and my husband. No issues in SA, hysteroscopy, hcg, blood work. I respond well to clomid and letrazole. I've had one CP and one ectopic. I went to RE today to get my follicles checked. I had three mature ones. I am triggering tomorrow and iui Monday. My lining is only 6.7 today. Has anyone gotten pregnant with this number? I never need progesterone suppositories either according to RE but the thin lining is worrying me.
Your lining still has plenty of time to grow if you're only triggering tomorrow. Close to ovulation, mine has grown up to 0.9mm per day (and 0.5mm/day 4-5 days prior to trigger). So within 36 hrs, you have plenty of time to make it to 8mm. Do you have one last monitoring before your trigger?
Then I'd say there's lots of time for your lining to thicken up. How big were your follies and did you have E2 levels? Seems like a long time between your last monitoring and your IUI to me though, especially if you already had 3 mature follies.
I'm doing really good! A little over 20 weeks now, and we found out last week we're expecting a little boy. If it wasn't for the belly, I'd still be having a really hard time believing I finally got pregnant.
E2 is estradiol which should be at least 200 (can go up to 600) per mature follie. They should also be checking how your LH is rising. For my successful cycle, we thought I had an extra day of stim at least as I had only one mature follie, and 3 really close. However, it turned out that my LH was surging, so I triggered the night of and had my IUI the next morning (they called me in a panic at 4:30pm to schedule everything). I was always monitored every day from day 9 or so until my trigger shot to make sure it's really well timed, which I don't think can be done as well when the monitoring is on arbitrary days and not consistent til your trigger.
Yeah I usually go on day 10 and trigger day 12. Last month I went on day 10 and had ovulated already. This time I went on day 10 and he wanted the follies to grow just a little bit and my lining to thicken. He said I should be good for Monday's iui.
I would ask for closer monitoring, especially if this has been an issue in the past where they missed your ovulation. That'd be even more important if you make the switch to injectibles (they cost so much that you really don't want to mess up your timing). Is it because the office is closed on weekends? Anyway, if I were you, I wouldn't risk it and would BD today so at least your weekend is covered if you ovulate, and DH will have time to replenish for Monday.
@Drove2u I got pregnant with a 7mm lining. I know it's a tiny bit higher but very close. The doctor told me it was a little thin (which it had been every month ttc between 6.5-7mm at trigger or day before) I did take the estrogen to help as well. my RE said it is a little thin but has plenty of time to thicken up before implantion and said not to worry about it. And my last cycle I did get pregnant with 7mm. Hope that helps !! Good luck, I hope this is your month
With my recent FET, we couldn't get my lining over 5mm. Tried estrace, Vivelle patches, and estradiol valerate injections. Wouldn't budge over a 5. I added in Pom juice, red raspberry leaf capsules, Vit E, Vit B6, and did 20 min of heating pad on the ute daily leading up to FET. Even though our chances were only ~34%, we decided to go for it since we have so many frosties, and we had been through so much already with this cycle. So grateful we went for it, because it took! Still waiting for the confirmation u/s, but PUPO! So it can happen!! Good luck!
DX (May 2010) = Lap #1 showed Stage I-II endometriosis. HSG normal. Tx with 6 mo Lupron (which did nothing...) Lap #2 June 2011 to remove endo, uterine fibroid, and polyp
IUI #1-#3 (July-Sep 2011): All Clomid 50 mg + unmonitored IUI = All BFN
October 2011 - April 2012: Outta $$$ (no insurance coverage) = back to tryin' on our own
May 2012 - August 2012: Mental break from trying
October 2012: New OB. Bloodwork normal aside from slightly low progesterone
U/S #1 3/21: Heartbeat and one perfect bean!! DS born 11/6/13 via c-section
TTC #2 March - August 2015 = all BFNs
Prep for FET #1: Aug 2015: found "mass" in uterus on saline sonogram; scheduled a hysteroscopy to remove.
Sept 2015: Hysteroscopy: mass turned out to be scar tissue(?), all removed. Recheck saline sonogram 2 weeks later showed "stuff" still in uterus (more scar tissue? remnants from surgery? Will see if clears with a period). Recheck saline sonogram 1 week later: all clear! Start Lupron and Estrace. Follow up u/s 2 weeks later: uterine lining only 5mm, add in patches. Follow up u/s 1 week later: uterine lining = 4.3mm (argh!), stop estrace and patches and start estradiol injections twice/week. Follow up u/s 2 weeks later: uterine lining = 5mm Instructed to keep on estradiol injections and recheck in 5 days = lining still at 5mm. Need to make a decision - go for it? Or toss in the towel w/ this cycle and start all over again next year with a new protocol. Decided to go for it as we had 17 frosties; what have we got to lose??
@Drove2u - when I got pregnant with my daughter, we did Clomid and TI without monitoring (yikes), but had an ultrasound with the RE at about 3 weeks because that's when I had my initial consult and my lining was 5, I think. After I got my BFP, I called them and they started progesterone for me, but she stuck!!

Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)

First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl!
@Drove2u I was wondering earlier how you are doing! Your lining is fine and will definitely increase by IUI day. The trigger not only makes your follicles grow more but helps your lining increase. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck! I am rooting for you!

Thanks @AdorkablePixie taking letrazole again now and will be doing my fourth IUI and fifth medicated cycle. Have one more IUI after this to do and then Ivf. How are you?
@Drove2u I am sorry the last IUI didn't work!! Hopefully this next one will. If not, IVF definitely will so at least there is hope! I know it would be fantastic if IUI worked though, so much easier.
I am doing great!! I'm 21 weeks along now and finally starting to actually look pregnant. lol
