Let's hear from our grads! We have so many in the past month, its been magical! Tell us the good the bad and everything in between! (@jenniferk08 I hope it is ok I posted this I have been dying to hear an update from everyone- including you!)
NOTE: This post is for people who have posted on TTC>35 and have become pregnant and moved on from this board. If you are still TTC please refrain from posting any updates on this thread and only respond to our graduates. TTC>35 updates for current members are posted weekly on Wednesday. Please post your updates on that thread.
Thank you. So far so good. My levels are all up up up but I'm still on progesterone for now. I'm going Wednesday for my first ultrasound.
I just got in the big brother tshirt for my son to wear to my family's house Christmas night. We're telling my parents Christmas morning. Their present was just shipped to me. It says "the only thing better than you as my parents is my children having you for grandparents". I'm going to see if they figure it out before I show them the u/s.
How have you been? And all the other grad ladies? Anyone else planning on a Christmas announcement?
This thread is a bit quiet, so I'll play (although I hardly feel like a grad at this point).
I'm 4w and feeling well, other than sore boobs and some minor tugging and cramping that is normal for me in early pregnancy. I'm ravenously hungry, but only slightly more so than usual. My first u/s and OB appt. is on 1/7, which can't come soon enough. Just trying to take it one day at a time and stay positive.
@Jenniferk08, glad to hear things are looking good for you. We're visiting DP's sister for the holidays so we told her bc she and her husband would know something was up if I'm not drinking. They were very excited for us. I also just told my sister bc she was the only family member who knew we were trying. Will probably keep it on the DL otherwise until we get to 12 weeks. Seems so far away....
So ... we had a precious little girl!!!!! Everyone kept telling me it was def a boy and I couldn't have been more shocked when instead of a lanky, bald little boy I saw a dark haired, dimpled thighed 8 lb girl! She's healthy and adorable and we are just out of our minds with sleep deprivation and JOY:) My pregnancy was uneventful but after ttc for so long I was always a little wary...but the whole labor thing was great! Forty minutes of pushing and there she was, perfect! Thank you to everyone on this board who really supported me and provided hope and understanding, it was such a comfort during an especially trying time. @2pups congrats on your special little angel! It's so great to hear an update! Wishing you a lifetime of joy!!!!
I'm 6w5d today. I had my first ultrasound last Thursday at 6w. We got to see and hear the heartbeat 105bpm)!! Amazing! They said the bean was measuring one day off and I asked if it was a day ahead or a day behind. They simply said, "it doesn't matter" and went on to say that everything was right on track so I'm going to try to not worry (easier said than done!). They are releasing me to obgyn so I guess it's really official now!
I just spent over 16 hours in the car yesterday and today driving up to Maine with DH and boy was it rough! The nausea is soooooooo bad but I'm rejoicing in the fact that surely this must be a good sign that things are growing strong!! But how do I keep it a secret from family when I feel like crap literally all the time?????
So excited that so many of us are graduating just in time for the holiday season! Praying and hoping more of you join us soon!!! Happy holidays everyone!!!

@Jenniferk08, I'm having an u/s on Wednesday and announcing to my family on Christmas as well!
@jilligan14, a day off is nothing. Ultrasounds have a margin of error bigger than that. And I could.not.imagine driving for 16 hours with nausea. You are a trooper. I've been avoiding my parents because it's so hard to hide how sick I feel. I'm going to tell them and my sister's family first thing Christmas morning so I can be myself for the rest of the day. It's going to be amazing to finally get that secret out!
I'm thinking of joining the Pregnant After 35 board. We're racking up bfp's over here, so I think we could make that board more active again. It was kind of slow when I checked it out. More posts would lure more people.

Hi Ladies! All good on this end and congrats on all of the new bfps! 22 weeks today and all is well with DS#2.
I agree @CarrieandRoy the pregnant after 35 board had very little activity so I don't venture there often but if many ladies from board are heading over so will I.
Well I had my u/s today. I saw the flicker of the heartbeat. I'm measuring a couple days behind (I should be 7 wks but measuring 6wks 4 days) so I go back on 1/4 for another u/s. They said if things progress I can hopefully stop the progesterone by 10 weeks if not I may need it until 12. Right now my EDD is 8/13.
I had an u/s today and everything is good! Baby's heart rate is 172, it
has limb buds and I got to see it wiggle a little bit! It is still
measuring a day ahead (8w4d) so my new due date is 7/30. I can't wait
until Christmas so I can tell my family!!!!!!!!

Yay for all these great updates! I'm just popping in to say I'd be game for reviving the Pregnant after 35 board with you guys. I've done some drive-by posts but it's a bit pathetic. I don't really feel like I have a home on TB anymore because I find my BMB totally overwhelming.
As for my update: 17 weeks and doing well. I'm starting to get nervous in anticipation of my anatomy scan next week, probably because I study birth defects for a living so I know a bit too much.

Hi guys! I've been MIA on the bump in general, but wanted to check in. I'm 10 weeks, 3 days today and feeling like total shit... Lol. Seriously. No complaints, though, because I'm blessed to have a so-far sticky baby growing in there. We had an ultrasound at 7 weeks, 4 days, and saw the heartbeat. I went for my Harmony test bloodwork today, so within the next 2 weeks we will have important insight into our risk for chromosome abnormalities and as a side perk, we will know the sex of the baby. It's still a worry-fest every day, but I definitely feel all the symptoms right now, so that holds me until the next appointment. Just praying for a healthy little one, and some peace of mind. Good luck to all and I'll be checking back to see how you're doing!!
Big news! My cell-free dna results came back negative for bad stuff and I'm having a girl!!! Woo-hoo!

Been MIA for awhile, we've just been so busy. 38 weeks tomorrow, tons of Braxton Hicks and at this point I'm ready to have this little girl. We're still unsure of the name, haven't finished the nursery, haven't got the two older girls settled in their new room yet....but I'm starting to swell and the contractions are so exhausting, I'm ready for her to be evicted
