11 week check up

So I went for a check up and the dr did no exam. They took a lot of blood and asked guestions. Is this normal? I am 11 week 4 days.

    Is this your 1st or second appt did they check for a heart beat did they draw blood at your first exam?

    My doc does an exam when your 16 weeks. My first appointment was just blood work, questions and an ultrasound.

    There really isn't much for them to do until you get bigger, besides weight and BP. Sometimes I feel like it's a scam, but it is really important in case stuff pops up.

    That sounds pretty accurate. There's not much to do otherwise at this point. At my 8 week apt (also my dating scan) they only did that, took BP and temp, asked questions and drew a TON of blood and gave me a flu shot. The entire process took 45 mins tops.
