Moms On Call

A friend of mine was telling me about the Moms On Call schedules. She hasn't tried it but a friend of hers did and loves it. Was wondering if anyone has tried their scheduling and how you liked it. Also, did you purchase the book or the app?
I want to try and find a schedule for us to start getting into as my sister will be staying at our house M-F to watch my son while I work. So I thought is we could get a schedule going before I went back in Jan it would benefit all parties.

  • I posted something similar a couple of weeks ago and didn't get much response. A friend of mine recommended the book/schedules to me, and I'm loving it. My pediatrician basically recommended the same concept...feed often during the day so that you and baby can get longer stretches of sleep at night. LO will be five weeks tomorrow, and he is only waking up once (btwn 2 and 3) in the middle of the night to eat. He goes down to sleep at 9:00, so I'm getting one really good stretch of sleep and then a couple other shorter stretches. He wakes for his first feed of the day btwn 6 and 7. He has responded very well. Last night we had some issues (he had one long stretch but then was restless for the rest of the night and morning) for the first time since we started a few weeks ago, but I'm pretty sure it was gas.

I have the book in hard copy and eBook. I don't have the app. And FWIW, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'll continue to take the advice of my pediatrician. Yours may have a different opinion, so I would definitely ask. I waited to speak w my ped before I started the schedules.
