HELP!!... OPK's, CM, BD, DHubs gets me sick. Loss mentioned

Ok ladies I know there's a lot to this, but I need advise. DHubs and I have been trying for over 10+ years, this year in Aug we had our first BFP EVER! Unfortunate as it is, it ended with a MC in September at 6wks, we are under the care of an RE although we've taken the last few months to try on our own... It hasn't worked so far, I started using OPK's last month and thought I tracked very well, we BD'ed but kept getting BFN so this month is our final month of trying on our own as we are to have our 2nd FET come January. I had my AF on 12/4 I've been using Ovia and OPK's to track, I thought my peek would be this Sunday 12/19 (as Ovia stated) --but over the last few days I've had from what I can tell and understand from descriptions and photos on the internet: It started with like watery cm, then went to like glue real thick, and now it's stringy like egg whites, DHubs and I have BD'ed Sat and yesterday he has MFI with low everything so I was told BD everyother day, I'm feeling very crampy and kinda sick to my stomach, I'm not sure if you ladies feel like this with your DHubs but after he does his business in me I'm sick to my stomach, a little itchy down there (which goes away) but no other symptoms I've asked my OBGYN and RE about being alergic to one another but they say no we are not because when we retrieved my folicals and put them together with his sperm they met perfectly and made us 8 beautiful little embryos, my question is should we BD every other day or every day? I took an OPK yesterday that was super faint and I took one this morning that instantly was way darker then the control line so I'm assuming I ovulated early this month (or maybe I always do, not too sure) so I'm assuming I'm not ovulating on the 19th which technically the 19th would be 16 days past AF and if I'm reading my body right with cm I'm really ovulating 11 to 12 days past AF so should we BD tonight or tomorrow? I'm really not trying to worry about it too much on our own since I know were transferring next month but I hear all these stories about Miracles and I'd love to have that be our story "We were trying on our own and BAM" we were blessed with you!" Ladies please help my crazy mind..... THANK YOU!!

  • Hello! I would suggest BD every other day using some type of sperm friendly lubricant. I have used pressed and it helped me with the burning sensation you mentioned. I hope some other ladies can address your other concerns.

  • Hello there!  Definitely BD every other day if you have MFI.  It gives you your best sperm sample that way.  Also with OPKs, once you get a positive, you likely will ovulate within the next 24-48 hours.  The + on the OPK means your body is producing the hormone that tells your ovaries to ovulate.  Once you get that + OPK that's a good time to start BD'ing since you will have the best chance if you BD 24-48 hours before ovulation occurs.  I also agree with @cmm012, preseed is the best lube to use that is sperm-friendly.   Good luck to you!

  • preseed doesn't help with the sick to your stomach issue unfortunately @kmartinez209 - I have that issue as well. I asked the doc about it, and he said its more likely an "trauma" issue than a sperm issue (which I think is bollocks because I didn't used to feel that way in the days of the condom wearing... oh how long ago that feels haha). I think the structure of the semen might just disagree with us or something. I can say, that since I had allergy testing done, and cut out wheat (dairy was already cut out), the sick feeling after intercourse has basically subsided... its very subtle now. Haven't ever gotten a straight answer, and forgot to mention it to my new doc since I'm not really experiencing it anymore. We're doing some immune testing though, and I wonder if that might be related somehow (ie. killer attack cells, anti-sperm antibodies or whatever). With IVF i'm hopeful its LESS of an issue, but I dunno... glad I'm doing the testing regardless. Maybe someone else can help us out with more info. I did a lot of reading about it in the past, and you've re-sparked my curiosity. I'll share if I find any good literature in my searches :)
